I see a SOLID team here, which doesn't refute what I was saying in my previous reply. You could see GSW's style in that package, Bogut's hustle and execution, and yes, Curry doing his thing. My contention is that Curry is a great player in a well-oiled system on a GREAT franchise. That highlight package doesn't refute that.
It was a fun watch, though, for sure. I remember watching those Warriors and being highly entertained, just like now. I love good basketball.
So what kind of team then? Lets compare some other superstars' pasts "mediocre" squads:
So are you saying similar to Durant? Oh wait he's had Westbrook, Harden, Ibaka, and Adams most of time in OKC
So, okay, like Bron? Oh wait he had big Z (who was an all star at one point), Boozer, Mo
Similar teams to CP3? Prime DWest tho, shoot! CP3 doesn't fall into that "elite" group
Similar teams to Giannis? Oh wait, he had pretty solid teams too
See what I'm saying? You can't really do the
I need to see him around a "medicore team to prove his greatness" thing when all these players above have had solid teams. No decent franchise doesn't try to surround their best player with a solid roster.
Like I said before, most of those players on that SOLID roster were no longer in the league anymore before they were completely washed.
AND, Mark Jackson hasn't gotten a chance to coach again.
Oh, btw, he has beaten most of the aforementioned in the playoffs when it mattered most. But hey! He needs to do it by himself so we can
really know! Really? LOL
Why lament Steph's help? Especially when the team ain't even close to as great without him?
