So are you going to use LeBron playing with two other all-stars from 2010-2018 to cripple the argument for Bron’s legacy? Pau joining the Lakers to cripple the validity of Kobe’s 4th and 5th titles? The addition of Phil Jackson and Pippen to cripple an argument for MJ as GOAT? Pop, Manu and TP then later Kawhi to cripple Tim’s argument?

The all-time greats with multiple championships aren’t doing it by themselves. Extraordinary players have extraordinary circumstances.

And I have nothing to refute what you just said, if I were dead set that he's overrated trash.

I know steph is phenomenal, though, elite even. I think where I started to get lost is in #2 PGOAT. Like, PG is probably the most loaded position in the history of the NBA. I have nothing to back that up, and I'm not intrested in any metrics that show another position has been more loaded in the league's history. But we all know there have been a metric eff-ton of disgusting PGs. #2? Of all time? Like, I don't think it's a coincidence that his growth and the Warriors growth follow the exact same trajectory. But I do think that his growth and the Warriors growth as a team and as a franchise cripple the argument that he's the 2nd best PGOAT.

Steph lacks something very important to break into top 10 status, longevity. His peak is probably a top 10 peak.
30ppg, 50-40-90, 73 wins, 400 3s, but the overall career numbers aint there. GOAT shooter though.

And beat Bron, KD, Russ, AD, CP3, Harden, Dame. Pretty impressive resume.

I don't think he's the #2 SFOAT.

But if I did, 3 FMVPs in 8 straight Finals on 2 different teams, 1 of which was trash before and after his time there would be the crux of that argument.

steph is no doubt great on his own merit, but he's been fortunate to have klay, dray, iggy, and then have KD fall into their laps. from a team perspective, a lot of other top players in this league have not been surrounded by that level of talent. the warriors have made the most of it, so kudos to them.

Are there even 3 people total on here arguing Zeke as #2PGOAT? Even 1, actually? So that's flawed in bringing him up.

Magic actually has FMVPs, so that's flawed in bringing him up.

Stockton? Same response as Zeke, with even LESS than 0 people arguing him as the number #2PGOAT.

You're not even trying to understand, man. Just in your feels that someone ELSE isn't completely drunk on the 'Steph isn't just the #2PGOAT! He's a deity disguised as a PG!' Koolaid.

Steph's help is always emphasized to denigrate him.

Lebron has played with more all stars/ superstars than Steph but yet we never hear it.

Matter of fact, the same "KD is better than Steph but Steph is more important for the Warriors narrative" is applicable with the AD Lakers.

The two players universally talked about as the best in the league (KD/LeBron)...have literally have played with players much better and more accomplished than Dray/Iggy/Klay.

Then Kawhi...literally fell into the perfect situation with San Antonio and Tim Duncan

Russ played with KD & Harden out the gate. Harden played with them out the gate too. And since has played with Dwight, Cp3, Westbrook and other players tailored to him.

Dame Lillard came into the game with Lamarcus Aldridge then CJ Mcollum.

What makes Steph Curry so different than these guys? Y’all be saying ANYTHING when it comes to Steph smh .

I do know that Steph Curry has won and gotten to the finals....THROUGH KD. And has gotten to the finals....2 other times, and won One without KD.

That’s indisputable. Can’t say that for KD.
