Nike made Steph get locked up by Delimeats for a couple games in 2015.

Nike made Steph choke away that 3-1 lead in 2016 with 3 consecutive subpar performances.

Nike made Steph go 3-16 from the field (1-10) in the G3 of the series where it was really his best chance at winning the award in 2018.

Nike made him have that terrible 4th quarter and really 2nd half against the Raptors last June in that G6 to close out Oracle.

It's all a conspiracy by the sneaker companies and media against him even though those same media voted him the first and ONLY unanimous league MVP.

Yea y'all got it.

My issue and where the propaganda gets outta hand is the premature elevation of Wardell despite what we know. And outright excuses and denial for what actually happened. There is an argument for him being the best player on the team in the 2015 Finals but what actually happened did happen and the right guy won the award.

But we also just have to acknowledge the reality that if the Dubs would have won in 16 Dray was getting finals MVP and that Bron and Kyrie outplayed as well. And in 17 and 18 KD was better than him (despite the fact they tried to cheese Wardell the MVP with force feeding him in a blowout). And in 19, if Klay hadn't gotten hurt and they come back to win that series, he's more than likely getting the award for his stellar play.

It’s the “Steph on Kobe heels thing” in all time rankings. As well as the, “Steph, as the 2nd best PG ever...”chasing magic” thing with you. And a lil bit of some “get back” bitterness from the “Kobe got carried by Shaq” takes in the past. Just say it. That’s what this really is with you dawg :lol.

Steph hasn’t accomplished more than them. We all agree on that. There was/is a window for him as a peak player...to match them in some of the most meaningful nba crowning achievements. And lastly, I maintain he was better than KD in 2018. KD was better in 2017. And Steph was Phony in 2016.

This isn’t hard to see this POV.

"Premature elevation". The man changed how the game of basketball is played.
Look at the prioritization of the 3 ball now. Him and Klay started that. Blame him for how Harden plays.

I was thinking about this while watching Steph highlights a few days ago. LeBron is a once in a generation basketball talent but Steph changed how an entire generation of children are playing basketball #Influence #Levels

Who cares? Dirk went 1-11 in the first half of a finals game. We don't even remember, he won FMVP. Steph had similar to better numbers overall but didn't win FMVP.

A lot of basketball traditionalist get caught up in the optics. I think that is happening here; Steph doesn't look like he should be dominate.

A perimeter player the size of Steph are expected to have crazy variance in their game. What's crazy is that he's STILL efficient reltively to other similar guards who were in the NBA finals.

Despite all that you mentioned in bold he got three rings, 2 MVPS (first and only UMVP), and revolutionized the game.

2018 Finals:
KD 29/11/8 on 53/41/96
Steph 28/6/7 on 40/42/100

Better how exactly? Y'all boys living in the upside down.

But yea it is a joke to put him near Bean or Magic at this point in his career.

Steph in 2018 finals for three games (games 1,2, and 4) was better than KD.

One game shouldn't have changed that. Especially when it wasn't going to change the series outcome.

"Curry was better"

4 game sweep. Steph was better in the first 2 games....(up 2-0)

KD was significantly better in game 3 (3-0) series over.

Steph was better in game 4. But it was a blowout, closeout. You know this man. Cut the ******** with you.

So Steph was better in 3 outta 4 games but got worse numbers across the board on worst percentages? How does that work 🤔

He not man. But you stay doing this, when you can’t refute facts that are presented to you, in THIS argument that you don’t like. 😂🤦🏾‍♂️

Idek what you mean by “******”. But crack cocaine is in your system earlier than usual this week.

Again, you ain’t say nun but some laughing emojis, and “your side” stuff lol. **** goofy.

*****s acting like Steph in the 2018 finals...wasn’t averaging 30ppg over the first 2 games...being up 2-0. While KD struggled in game 1 (8-22, getting cooked by Bron). Then he had a quiet good game in the same game 2, that Steph hit 9 3’s (nba finals record). And the talk at the time was Steph having a better series. Then KD went nuts, and closed out the series with a stellar game 3. While Steph struggled mightily in that game. And it was a 3-0 series.

That’s the context that’s missing.

Game 4 was a formality. KD with a cool trip doub. Steph with a cool 37. To act like that didn’t happen, is weird.

But y’all get real weird about ole Chef, so I get it 🤷🏾‍♂️

Steph is still in his prime.

He just needs to stay healthy and I'm sure these stupid convos will end in the near future. Golden State needs to put some better pieces around him though. With all this lightyears talk they barely hit on a draft pick from 2014-Now. Looney is decent if he can stay healthy and Paschall looks like he has some potential. Other than that, their picks have flopped (Not really an indictment on them. Hard to hit on late picks)

I'm not even a Golden State fan, but as a fan of basketball it's hard to deny the guy.

I guess as I got older, it became so apparent how corny it is to hate on opposing players. I side eye grown people who do it. Bizzaro behavior.

Curry has never been better at any point when him and KD both played for the same team
