Or you could get a USB-C to Lightning Cable. Isn't it cheaper? another option is just a get a USB to USB-C dongle so you could use your original iPhone 6 cable to connect.

I purchased my cable when Apple put them on sale due to the outrage of users complaining about the USB-C ports. But right now a 1m cable costs $25 and the 2m cable is $35.

IMO, I think the 7 and 7 Plus are great upgrades. I really don't see the benefit to upgrade to the 8/8 Plus unless you have a iPhone 6/6 Plus or below.

My 6 will b 3 yrs old in January..I just don't see myself dropping $1050 on a phone ..my 6 is perfectly fine
