Been practicing combat with the zombie dude for like an hour. While I can beat him, I feel like I don't fully get it. I press L1 when the dude raises his arms up and circle when he charges at me. I don't attack until I see the red circle. Am I doing it right?
When is a good time to go on offensive? When the posture bar is about 75% full after deflection?
Sekiro is incredibly difficult, but that's part of the charm. When you actually defeat a challenging enemy, you get a huge sense of accomplishment.
Last night I just beat the boss at the top of Ashina Castle. Was stuck on him for nearly 40 minutes trying to memorize attack patterns, while Hirata Estate boss i was stuck on for nearly 2 hours.
Genichiro was rough, but in his third form he uses a lightning strike attack. If you jump and attack him while in mid-air while he does that lightning attack it does about a third of his vitality and a chunk of posture. After that a few deflects and he was toast. Nearly impossible to heal in this battle too.
This game is amazing.
Gotcha I'm older and my work and life are pretty challenging so games offer a means of escape. NT's favourite Bloodborne is <$20 but I know it's not for me.
Good luck with med school.
Haven't heard of The Surge but looking forward to both.

3. The Dualshock 5 is a refine upgrade from its original predecessor the Dualshock 4. However, the DualShock 5 will eliminate the TouchPad completely and it will instead come with an OLED TouchScreen so that Games can be played on the controller itself. However due to the system being relatively powerful the DualShock 5 will NOT be portable and you CAN NOT take your games on the go instead think of the Wii U gamepad of where someone is watching TV and the Game is automatically played on the controller, it will function similarly to that. The Triggers will have Rumble Like Moters in them almost similar to the Xbox One Controller, and the Share and Option Button will be eliminated and Sony will bring back the Start and Select Buttons. While you are playing a game, the touchscreen on the Dualshock 5 controller will have a UI and from there you can access the Share functionality from the Original PS4 and you can browse the Playstation Store and do other stuff while you are waiting for a game to load or if you are playing a game. But this is only in use if a developer hasn't used the Touchscreen for anything like Weapon Load outs, etc, but if you would like the UI to be accessed from the controller then you can do so from the PS5 Home Menu. The Controller itself comes with a built in mic, and the shape of the controller is the same as the Dualshock 4 controller with a bit of tweaks and modifications.
Some more food for thought; taken from a Reddit "insider" in November. Full disclosure; the remaining points in his post appear to be some pretty huge reaches (6TB SSD, GTA6 in 2021, ect)

Well they need to think harder and get this thing portable. The Wii-U gamepad was a half baked idea and the switch blows it out the water. I’m sure there’s millions of casuals just like me that have time constraint issues with dedicating the time to tv gaming. Some more food for thought; taken from a Reddit "insider" in November. I’m good on the portability. I want this machine to be as powerful as possible at a decent price. I don’t even play man Switch on the go, strictly docked.Well they need to think harder and get this thing portable. The Wii-U gamepad was a half baked idea and the switch blows it out the water.
