Damn I wish I could say the same. RDR2 disappointed me. I like it but it’s definitely not what I expected. I’m not even sure what my game of the “decade” would be

i got RDR2 as GOTY too, followed by Spidey. spidey was legit but RDR2 just has so much detail to it and the side stories were well done and interesting. RDR2 probably legit my favortie game on PS4.

Yea RDR gameplay was just not fun. I didn’t put a ton of hours in, but if I wanted a story I could pick up a new tv show.

I personally think that times have just changed man and this backlog makes me less patient
which also doesn’t go to well with the low key ADD

RDR2 has outsold the first one already, so there are a lot of people who are going into this fresh (which I would argue is a good thing story wise). I think Rockstar should have made some changes to help new players to the franchise ease into it (easier fast travel, quicker animations for stuff Arthur does like picking something up).

You can, but it doesn't have as many good games as the NES & Super NES Classic.
Outside of Metal Gear, Final Fantasy 7, Tekken 3 and Rainbow 6 (and maybe 2D Grand Theft Auto 1 for some of you "hardcore GTA folk), the rest of the titles on that game list is either for a niche audience OR lack luster garbage.
I'm not telling you to cancel, but do realize where your money is going to go if you do keep your pre-order

I loved the first game which is why I was so hype for RDR2. However, I played it when it released, 8+ years ago. My expectations weren’t the same as they are now. For what it’s worth, I think GTA V controls like trash too.
