The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

Hmm, get an all new console with a completely different library of games, or a more powerful version on a console you already have when the PS5 is on the horizon...
I don’t think the PS5 will be released until 2020 at the earliest. With the reveal coming next year

I can still get a whole lot of a Pro since I have a ton of games I have yet to play yet. And I don’t care for getting a PS5 at launch it just isn’t worth it so I’d end up waiting a year anyways unless there are some really good launch titles slated for whenever it drops which I doubt will justify buying it within a year of its launch. And while I like the Switch I’m not sure there’s a ton of games that I’m too interested in which is why I was figuring it out sooooo..

Decent but I wish I wasn't making the final payment on mine Sunday. A 500 GB no less, I'll just purchase an external hard drive.

People still put video game consoles on lay away plans ?

I just made it to chapter 3 on RDR2. The controls and gameplay make me not want to play for long periods of time. I love the atmosphere, the story (so far) and the characters. I just hate how sluggish it plays.

Also been mixing in some Blackout, Castlevania and Dragon Quest XI. Aside from RDR2, what’s everybody playing?

We need to get an NT squad on Blackout too 8o

I need something new to play. I was playing RDR1 but the travel to various locations to do a small task for boring. Along with no real challenge in the missions.

I still have GOW 4 to play and the DLC for Spiderman.

Anyone not really feeling RDR2?

Stay getting jumped by like 4 people

Got a bunch bounty’s for stupid reasons

I’m like 15 missions in and it’s still tutorial missions

Drives me insane that I can’t run at the base camp

Overall the controls are annoying

Same. Same. Same.
Playing BO4. RDR2. Diablo 3. FIFA 19. I hate that so many games are adopting the weekly/daily challenges model.

Think I might give up on red dead and just sell it. The depth of the world is possibly the best I’ve ever seen, but the gameplay is a chore and not fun.

I’d stick with it. Resale value for it will probably be around $30 for a few months. I play it sparingly and it keeps me from getting bored. It helps if you have other games in rotation.

Keep receiving this message when purchasing from the PlayStation Store "We've encountered an error while processing your order. Please try again later."

I was feeling the same when i realized the weeekend past and i had time to play it but chose not to. Game does feel like a chore and I find myself enjoying Spiderman more.

Wish i didnt buy RDR2 digital but oh well i will stick it out and hope i can finish it and not delete it and move on.
