The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

I’ve never played a Yakuza game before. Would I need to know anything about the other games before hopping into Kiwami?
Kiwami 1 is a HD remake of the first 1. Then follows with 2
You're gonna love the game just for the fact that you get to see a new place outside of every damn game bein NYC or LA based

I bought Kiwami 1 last year and played for about an hour or two. I see the potential but it plays like a PS2 game still. Maybe one day.

Sounds dope. Ive seen reviews of the recent Yakuza games and they seem cool. Glad to know I can just hop into this one :smokin

I think Yakuza 3,4,5 all getting released for PS4, at least it is in Japan. I’d assume it’ll come to NA as well.

You can also cop 0 for like $20. I love the Yakuza series for obivously the gangster ties but also because of the wacky Japanese stuff that happens inbetween the madness.
Some of the weird japanese humor when you finish up some of the side quests legit had be laugh out load. Or like when you choose the wrong thing to say, that's the best

As much as the Yakuza series intrigues me and I'm tempted to get into the games. I just can't even spend $20 on them and will have to wait until they hit PS+ like Yakuza Kiwami is about to.

Reasons being RDR2 has consumed all of my gaming and the limited personal time off I have after work. I know if I buy the other games they are going to pile up in my back log of un played & un opened games. Heck thats exactly the reason why I just aren't interested in RPG games, I mean I bought Persona 5 and had it just sit un opened for a year until I managed to return & swap it out for another game at Walmart with no receipt.
