Blackout is much more methodical. Maybe watch a few videos of it. It's a much slower pace than typical multiplayer would be.

^This. Battle Royale is a totally different style of play from guns blazing deathmatch. It’s a mix of preparation, patience and strategy. Good aim doesn’t hurt either.

It would be cool Seriously...seeing them give in to Fortnite...where throughout the console wars cod has been THE one lol until recently. It would be cool to teamup with some dudes. Or battle against just for fun.

If you want my serious opinion then.............Activision has begun testing the possibility of crossplay among all platforms by letting Blizzard (Activision owns Blizzard) propose to get Diablo 3 to be crossplatform with the PC, Switch, PS4, and Xbox 1.
If the Diablo 3 crossplay proposal ends up happening for Blizzard, yeah......I can see Activision trying to encourage Sony to push crossplatform for more of their games (CoD, Bungie w/ Destiny, Heartstone, etc.).

I don't ever remember the last time I used the in-game lobby for a multiplayer game on the PS4...........****, I think I always used the PS4's party chat instead for everything co-op.

I can’t see Sony allowing cross play. They are the company that’s adamant against it. Losing day destiny would kill a lot of revenue and murk their deal for exclusive content. Most people would just move to PC then including myself and prob everyone i run with.
Sony paid too much for these deals to get sales, higher population, and other streams of royalties. One of the reasons they are doing better this gen is because of these deals.

Ok first, stop acting as if you work for Sony and oversee their budget and marketing. Why do you even care? Are you getting a cut of Sony money or something? Did you ONLY choose to game on that system because of timed-exclusives? Does it even matter?
You'd go to PC because Sony allowed cross play? You are in the minority here, most people literally just want to play with friends, which is where the industry is headed and ultimately where Sony will be heading as well. Gotta put the fanboyism down and just enjoy your toys while you can. I'd love to play PUBG with yall and squad up, as of now I can't (for obvious reasons like the gaming not being on PS4) but in the future we won't be having this conversations and that's a win for gaming as a whole.
