"It sounds better." Zero logic in that statement.Yeah, it could suck, but it sounds better to me.
I see what you're saying.I don't speak Japanese either but I know in anime and voiceovers in general the quality of effort, intensity, and emotion are easily conveyed without comprehending the language. I used to watch DBZ without subs in Japanese and currently do the same with New Japan Pro Wrestling.
When you start a Souls game you get to choose what type of class you want (Rogue, Knight, Warrior, Wizard etc.) so there's replay value. Are those games long? Say over 20 hrs.
I don't mind BB being a challenge.
Fair enough and I also see what you are saying."It sounds better." Zero logic in that statement.
I see what you're saying.
I don't agree that quality of effort or emotion can be conveyed without knowing said language.
Languages convey ideas differently. So hypothetically conveying love in spanish is much stronger than conveying love in english.
Also let's say you're the guy who picks which exert a japanese voice actor says. He reads some lines in japanese in various ways, how would you pick the best exert? You see what I'm saying?
And I recently started playing TLOU remastered. Forgot how damn great that game was. Beat it on the 3 when it dropped, but had to play the updated version.
"It sounds better." Zero logic in that statement.Yeah, it could suck, but it sounds better to me.
Anyone who watched a Japanese episode of DBZ knows the voice overs are better than the English one

No part of your post was cut out.Well, it's not logical to cut out parts of my post to alter it's meaning, but that' didn't stop you from doing so.
I don't know Japanese, but based on what I've heard spoken, I think the voice of the japanese VA fits better, and it just sounds more natural in a sense to me. I don't think the voice of the english VA fits the character as well, and the way he delivers some of the lines sounds bizarre and unnatural to me.
It's just a preference. Some things sound different to others. Like how you fawn over the FH2 sountrack, meanwhile I think every track you post sounds like doo doo. Different strokes.
If you like those feels check out the walking dead video game and heavy rain.Just started Last of Us...
