I rarely leave my laptop unplugged. I think its pretty bad, but I am too lazy and I don't want my laptop to be dead when I need it in a rush.
(I'm in school btw)

Just got a new hard drive today from newegg... 200GB Toshiba running 7200rpm, got it for $65, which I'm happy with. I was a little nervous about how easyit would be to start my computer back up, but with a few google searches and some common sense, I figured it out in no time (easy Apple products FTW!). Sobefore I had about 2.9GB free, now I'm rockin about 120 free GB. I'm on the lookout for Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CS3 if anyone knows anythin...

Also, anyone know the name of the application to download that can cool your laptop down by slowing down the rpm? I'm looking for that for times when Itravel and I don't need it to be running so fast.

Anybody use a 20" iMac with a dual monitor setup? If so, what side monitor do you use? I'm looking for the best integrated setup.

I took mine to an Apple store when mine cracked and Apple Genius took care of it for free. I was under Apple limited warranty(within 1 year after purchase) w/oApple care, at the time.

if that is really all you are going to do look into getting a netbook and throwing osx on it. it will save you a fair amount of money.

i wouldnt use a netbook as a main computer. 10" is fine for viewing movies and light work.. but it gets tiring after awhile

adium doesn't support video chat. i still say ichat > adium. simple and straight to the point.
