http://www.amazon.com/JBL...aker-System/dp/B000M39268

they are AC powered (ie not really mobile)... but they bang out.

also.....

dude that asked about connecting to a TV... all you need is an HDMI cable. DON'T GO TO BEST BUY. cables are cables are cables. they got"platinum" joints.... "gold tipped" joints that can run up to $100. dont fall for it.

if you spend more than $20 bones for ANY cable, you're slippin....

So I just installed windows XP, and Parallels on my macbook yesterday... I tried google first, but I couldn't find anything. Does anybody know how to makethe internet work for the windows OS? It works fine on the Leapord OS, but I can't figure it out on how to make the internet work with the windows side...Thanks.

Ok now here's my problem...

I got an HDMI to DVI Cable today, just tried it and it's not working.

Basically my Desktop comes up on my HDTV but the DVD I'm playing on my MBP doesn't show up on my TV. Now when I open VLC Media Player and select"Full Screen" my HDTV Screen goes blank, so I pick a Porn movie to play and while it plays on my MBP my HDTV Screen is blank again.

^ honstely i don't know the problem. is it a cable that's male DVI and male HDMI?

becuase i just bought an adapter for dvi to hdmi and it works perfectly fine for me.

It's an HDMI to DVI Digital Video Cable (Audio/Video), when I asked the person at the shop I bought it from he said this is all I needed. I mentioned Iheard I needed an extra Cable to attach to my DVI Adapter that automatically comes with my MBP, he said no this cable is all I need and I'm good to go. Idon't know what a "Male" DVI/HDMI Cable. What's this DVI to HDMI Adapter? it different than the cable?

DVI is video only... no sound. so i dont know what the guy told you. what store is this?

i use my cable/adapter for video and then a normal stereo 3.5mm plug to RCA for my sound.

So the cord I got starts off with this piece only thing is at the bottom of this piece yours is a HDMI port to plug in a cord.

Mine is a cord at the bottom and at the end of the cord is a HDMI input plug that you insert into your HDTV/HDMI port.

yeah yours is the hdmi male and dvi male together. but idk why they'd tell you that sound would come out of it because it doesnt.

are you using a macbook pro? which one?

The MBP I have was the last "newer" version before the actual new glossy ones came out.

My problem is not only is there no sound but nothing comes up on my HDTV just my Screensaver no dock nothing.

the penryn?

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH i know what you're talkigna bout LOL.

you need to drag your toolbar to your tv. and that will fix everything. OR drag the VLC to your TV and then full screen ithere. i know what you're talkingabout.

and yeah, you're not gonna have sound. tell me if that works.

are you running it as a dual screen set up? or just using your tv as the main screen (MBP is closed or just not running it's screen)

yeah, basically what mjbetch said. dock is only going to be on one screen. in the preference you can pick if u want it on the center bottom, left or right. anddepending how your display is set up that's where it'll appear. (lets say your HDTV is set up as your left monitor, if you position your dock to theleft it'll go to that screen, but not in the center but to the side)
