I wouldn't mind seeing Ronda fight Cat again in the hopes that Cat doesn't fight like a ******* idiot again while Meisha and Holly fight.

Most people felt that was Meisha's fight before Holly as is.

I know on one hand it makes sense to have Holly + Ronda fight immediately.

But you also have a chance to develop the ENTIRE division more now. And not just one or two fighters.

I'm not changing my mind because another MMA(!) fighter with a boxing background beat her.  MMA boxing and regular boxing are not the same thing.  Holly defended takedowns and was able to take Ronda down.  Floyd wouldn't be able to do that.

And as someone else on here said, Ronda clearly didn't respect Holly's boxing to be charging in as stupidly as she was.  I will say if Ronda employed the same strategy she employed last night she'd lose to Floyd more times than not.  Can't rush someone who can counterpunch.

As far as elite judo, Rousey is that.
Elite boxing and kick boxing, Holly is that .

We all knew that.
What we didn't know is that Holly's weakest areas (grappling & take down defense ) are far superior to ronda's weaknesses (basic boxing, stand up striking & defense)

The reason Ronda had no game plan is bc she isn't prepared to do anything other than what she is known for.
She derides Floyd (def don't wanna turn this into Ronda vs Floyd) but He can win fights in Many different ways, and has.
Have we ever seen Ronda have to adjust her gameplan mid-fight?
Basic **** like go to the body, pivot , give angles. Other than that Thoroughly disappointed in Ronda and especially her antics and cockiness.

Floyd is bigger, faster, stronger, more athletic than Holly, has better footwork, and would have far more power in the check hooks and straight hands that Holly was catching Ronda with all night, to the point where I doubt it takes him more than a couple good shots to hurt Ronda.

The x factor is how Floyd wouldve defended against the clinch/takedown/submission. If he managed to escape like Holm did then he beats Ronda, if he doesn't then he loses.

But we'll never know because Floyd doesn't train MMA, so the whole argument is completely hypothetical and anybody claiming to know for sure what happens one way or another is talking out of their ***.

Ronda didn't respect Holly as a boxer or kick boxer. She thought she would go in there and impose her will like she has against every other opponent and beat them at their strong suit so she could look badass and say I beat her at what she supposedly does better than me.

Her corner should have told her to abort that plan after the first round beating and told her to stop boxing and try to take her down. She tried one or two of them throws she always does but Holly was ready 

If they fought again and dumbass Ronda doesn't try to box then she'd probably be the favorite.
