Maaaan. Just talk with your hands. Won't lie. Though there's an awkwardness to how he fights, DDP isn't as big a jobber as I thought.

Just to be clear, I can understand how Black Africans or those of African descent can have issues with what Dricus originally said. He "cleaned" it up but his white privilege was shining through. The effects of apartheid was felt even after it ended. Just like the Native American Indians, they were oppressed and their land stolen.

I just don't agree with the ignorant manner Izzy is responding. He considers himself cerebral, a chess player and a former bullied child. He could've used the moment in the cage as a teachable moment.

By the way after Drikus original comments Adesanya had an interview were he was asked bout DDP and he was talking about him just like he talks about Kamaru and Francis, like a brother. With total respect. I remember thinking oh wait till he hears this gonna hit the fan lol

Man i'm loving this hahaa. I remember a Duplessis post fight interview a few years back were he claimed, outta nowhere, he's the only real African in the UFC bla bla no one even asked him about that. He cleaned up this point recently now saying he's the only fighter living and training outta Africa but the original interview was real vile and uncalled for. Lets just not forget where all this racial undertone started at. Now Izzy is classless and a POS but when Chael Sonnen or McGregor does its hilarious.

with that said, he looked good against Rob, granted rob getting long in the tooth...DDP does have an awkward pace to his game, he's really herky jerky and picks his moments really well.

I would love to see him and Costa before Izzy, but I think he's ready for a TS.

Good challenge for izzy, not simply a walk in the park.

Why did he even mention Francis , Kamaru and Adesanya ? For what? Look at it this way if Duplessis had initially said "I'm proud of my country I'm going to bring the belt back to South Africa" none of us would even be having this conversation. Don't light a match and complain when there's fire.
