The MMA Thread: DON'T ASK 4 STREAMS & NO GIFS- Cannonier, Imavov, Reyes, Rosas on NOW

It's very troublesome

The reports aren't coming out of thin air for sure

And Philip you're right, funny that was Tony's comment

Not reading too much into it, but Woodley's looked pretty drained in a few videos and now at the weigh ins. Does he usually look like he struggles? Might be getting more and more difficult for him to cut

Could account for his grumpiness as well

Ariel saying there's some truth to the rumors from a "source close to Khabib"

Damn shame. Damn shame

I don't want more divisions, I just want guys fighting closer to their natural weight. The cultural shift is slowly happening but we'll see if it's just a fad

Lando doing the birdman handrub right now.....
Midas whale throw GSP in there he looks like he can make weight

I saw for the Thurman/Garcia days that their weights were checked like 60 and 30 days out.

Maybe that kind of policy would help in MMA if hey don't do that already?

I don't believe they check weight at all prior, I believe there was some sort of discussion for a policy like this to be put into place. I could be wrong

This is just terrible man. Terrible

Tony deserves better. He should be granted the interim belt anyway. Screw it. Make Conor fight Ferg when he returns

Checks are a step in the right direction but 30 days is a long time.

Give Jon Linekar 30 to go HAM and he's struggling to make 265.

UFC needs more weight classes. Boxing divisions are every 5-6 lbs?

UFC needs to add a 165, 175, 195 and like a 225.

I've always been against more weight classes just because we'd see more jumping up, down and all around like we've already been seeing as it is... and it's been annoying IMO

I wish the weight cutting culture was just different but it's been instilled for so long

That was an example but 60-30-15-7 I think would work.

He might have made the cut and then had subsequent health issues afterward. As pissed as I'll be if the fight doesn't *happen I'll feel less guilty if I miss it coaching our fighters at a smoker tomorrow night.

Exactly, had to be related to weight no matter how you cut it, no pun

And yet that wasn't my point at all.

What does it mean for his ability to still fight tomorrow?

He in essence would have taken a "banned" substance.
