"The Last Dance" Michael Jordan & Chicago Bulls Docuseries

nah b. cigar cutters not even built like that. they're circular. you insert the cigar through a hole and squeeze the sides to activate the blades. Unless mJ was betting that he can put his finger in it and it wouldnt cut him. Nahhh... was betting on games again. mob did that. owed em money. got suspended again.

then came back on wiz.

The first thing that came to mind was this scene:

How would he get suspended ...while retired...during the summer?

Great conversation with Klosterman on the LeBron vs. Jordan convo.

Spoken from a place of logic by Klosterman.

Have an open mind.

The Ringer’s Bill Simmons shares an essay he wrote about Michael Jordan’s retirement (4:25) before he is joined by author Chuck Klosterman to discuss the 40th season of ‘Survivor,’ generational gaps between athletes, nostalgic basketball behavior, and the 1992 dream team, as well as quarantine life, the historical weight of the COVID-19 pandemic, and more (24:45)

Some cigar cutters have exposed blades that can cut you.

I mean I could see a cheap one breaking and the springs causing it to slide and the blade slicing him

not that I’m an expert cigar smoker.. but I bought a quality cutter just to get a quality blade that could give a smooth clip.. and also bought a quality hole punch

Maybe it was really cuz of a bet he lost? :nerd:

wouldn’t shock me.. but we ain’t got no super thugs like that down here

I’m assuming dude was using a cheap cutter from the casino and it broke

nah man,, you got a bunch of different types.. but the super cheap ones are just a single blade, guillotine style in cheap plastic maybe with a spring

Something like this

Boy, MJ sure was a sucker for allowing his teammate Hodges to take the fall in the league. At least he could hire him on the Hornets.

:rofl:Don't bother wasting time listening to the Bill Simmons/Klosterman. Klosterman is a fool.
His main Jordan-Lebron argument is that Lebron is better than MJ at ACTUALLY PLAYING the game. He means actual skills and brings up rebounding and passing as examples.

I don't know if Simmons doesn't have the ability to destroy that argument or not, I think he chooses not to because none of his shows have argumentative tones or lots of back and forth.

:lol:He also says no player today would wear inferior products in NBA games because of the evolution of generations. (he's refering to retro shoes) When at least one player in the league somewhere wears a a retro damn near every night.

I don't think Klosterman watches much NBA.

I do not think that there is a doubt that both LeBron and MJ are incredible athletes. However, I am giving the nod as to who is better, to LeBron, especially if we look at how long Bron is doing his thing.

Hodges was mediocre and played himself out of the league. Imagine caping for a guy who only averaged 50 games a season his last 5 years in the league.

They called him Highway 14 because he couldn't play a lick of defense

So, he wasn't producing and that meant that the player with the largest presence should not have his back?
Very FOX news of you.
Shut up and dribble.

The only reason many of these dudes dug Jordan, is because he never said anything about being Black.
