The College Basketball Post

word of advice, never trust rick barnes in the tournament. 9/10 times he lets you down. regardless of how talented his team is.

Texas, Indiana, Ucla, Georgia and Ole Miss got in comfortably smh lol.

They were OD with the power conference love this year.

NC State has size and length to match LSU and has better guards. They'll have their hands full to get to Nova.

Final Four to Zona.
I know they haven't lost since late-November, but have to take care of business against Belmont and secure the automatic Ohio Valley berth. Entertaining conference tournament championship though.
I have Davidson in the Sweet 16, losing to ISU.
They win three games (including the play-in), IMO.
My gripe is still his lack of defensive prowess.
Gas.
Last year, I PM'ed you. Majority preferred Midtown East to Bounce. Most of the original crew came through: @DoItAllPaul, awwsome awwsome , @Rell826, etc.

I'm off Thursday and Friday. Floating Redemption. $25 beer towers and attractive bartenders.
Put their entire resumes side by side and you'll change your mind. I know Iowa State beat KU twice and that ND went on a nice run but...

Notre Dame:
29-5
RPI 16
BPI 9
KenPom 10
SOS 94
vs. Top 50 7-3
8 wins against the field

Iowa State:
25-8
RPI 9
BPI 15
KenPom 13
SOS 13
vs. Top 50 13-5
14 wins against the field

Kansas:
26-8
RPI 2
BPI 8
KenPom 11
SOS 1
vs. Top 50 12-7
13 wins against the field

...you guys know I don't think Kansas is much this year at all, but I do think their resume deserved the last 2 seed.

C'mon my dude, miss me with the numbers. From eye test alone, Kansas is not a #2 seed. They also faltered down the stretch, whereas ND and ISU are on the up and up.

KU has no Cliff and pie face Ellis is on a hobbled wheel. Hope Wichita State beat the dickens out of them.

So the first 3 months of the season don't matter? Okay then.

Also, faltered down the stretch...I know they won the Big 12 Tourney you know that ISU was in the front seat to win the Big 12 regular season and then lost to Baylor at home and then at K State in the same week right?

They are fun and all, but people put way too much stock into conference tournaments.

too many people are on e. wash upsetting georgetown. not happening. can't happen. won't happen.

How yall feel about baylor?
I want to pick the Georgia State upset, but it won't happen. They lack the height and defensive rebounding to weaken Baylor. Baylor kills with second-chance points starting with Gathers, who is a monster with his offensive rebounding and help defense as a rim protector. Georgia State has one of the better back-courts in the tourney, but Baylor's zone will give them problems. Especially considering Hunter, who I love at the next level, has struggled with his shot and offensive efficiency this season. Partial credit to emphasized defensive attention on him.

With that being said, I foresee Baylor winning two games and losing to Zona, who can deal with their length and athleticism. Although again, the zone presents problems when you lack shooters like Arizona does.

I don't think Iowa State deserved the 2 seed.  The regular season conference title has to be worth something.

Mayor's road to the Final Four looking ripe. If I had to pick any position of a #3 seed, I fancy ISU's the most because both Duke and Gonzaga feel beatable due to their defensive deficiencies. Whereas the West has Zona and East with UVA, 2-seeds that can put the clamps on you defensively.

I like the path to the FF.  SMU worries me, but if we can stay healthy (Babb vs Ohio St, Niang last year) we can make a deep run.

Thus far I have Valpo, Georgia St., Davidson, Eastern Washington, SFA, and UC Irvine all making it to the round of 32.

I actually think Nova has the best shot to come out of their region. I think the Zags are done early, and Zona or UNC might give Wiscy the goods

@ChampCruThik

dude are you an analyst?

#semisrs

i would read word for word if you broke down every game and/or helped me with my bracket lol. i read pretty much all your posts, do you watch every game? or just read up?

-12 scholarships

-108 wins for Boeheim

Millions owed to the NCAA

Been downhill since that Bernie Fine scandal. Sounds like Boeheim was turning a blind eye to everything. Won't see a 1000 wins now. Time for him to hang 'em up.

Hope Duke did everything they were supposed to do.
if i wanted to go with the countertrend play i'd take notre dame over kentucky in the elite 8. doubt kentucky loses a game this year tho.
Spent 2, nearly 3 hours on a bracket this morning and ended up with ND over Kentucky. All that time and it will probably be ruined before the first tip on Friday. I love March Madness.

edit: thought that other stuff was posted the day the Syracuse sanctions came out
