Roger Waters Tour 2010 Dates: The Wall Tour

The show is reportedly going to be spectacular, with a huge 240 foot wide, 35 foot tall wall that is made before and torn down after each tour date on Waters tour. “The Wallâ€

Its all right Physicx I somtimes don't know things and feel like an ++%* for doing so. As for the drive to Austin it is about 3 hours if I drive slow. The Rogers Water tour seems to be like the big tour this year don't think I'll be hitting that up as the Rush tickets seem like a pricey one and even more expensive then Maiden.(I'll probably be hitting this one solo as my uncle definitely cannot affored this one and Rush is to soft weird according to friends). My mom laughed when I told her I will be buying tickets. She said their music is boring and Geddy Lee looks like a doofis. I attempted to school her by playing her The trees, Red Barchetta, and Bytor and the Snow Dogs and she says why would anyone sing about trees. I guess some people just don't get it.

Rush is awesome!

I recently got exposed to Amberian Dawn (symphonic power metal; think Nightwish) and got both their cds. Good stuff and I'm looking forward to their new album dropping sometime this year

BCF- We're playing in Houston (well, Pasadena) with Horse Called War May 1st. The venue is a place called the Pitt. I've never heard of it, but from what I understand, its a pretty sweet place. I'm looking into booking us a show or two in San Antonio over the next couple months. What are some of the better venues for local shows? We haven't played down there in forever, so I have no idea what is around any more.

That would be cool Matt.  I probably couldn't hit up Houston but man if you get a San Antonio Date I'll be there Erick is up in Houston.  We have the White Rabbit, which is a pretty good venue a lot of good bands and bands starting out go there http://www.sawhiterabbit.com/, we have what is called The Backstage Live which is what we call the warehouse (good venue as well) I would have to look a little more into it.  There is also Zombies http://www.zombiesliveinsa.com/.  We have Sunken Garden Amphitheater.  The Scout Bar http://www.scoutbarsa.com/home.php.  There is also Sunset Station.  Those are the major ones that I know of everything else is small bars and won't do too well.

They were one of my favorites. I was but 6 or 7 when my uncles were playing it and I freaked when I saw the cover of Bloody Kisses. Two chicks kissing was something I hadn't seen before and that cover intrigued me but the music was just as good.

Lately

Yeah, I've heard of the white rabbit and scout bar. I'll check those places out, see what they have coming up, and see if we can hop on. Thanks!

matt, im confused. ive always been told that summer slaughter is necrophagist's tour and that theyre on the bill every year. so that means that decapitated is the headliner this year?

Summer Slaughter is without a doubt the best metal tour hitting the U.S. pavement this Summer. The 100% confirmed, official lineup, which MetalSucks exclusively can reveal to you now, is…

DECAPITATED
THE FACELESS
ALL SHALL PERISH
THE RED CHORD
VEIL OF MAYA
CEPHALIC CARNAGE
DECREPIT BIRTH
CARNIFEX
ANIMALS AS LEADERS
VITAL REMAINS

sick lineup. imo. cattle decapitation would of been kinda cool though

and bcf, man that sucks seeing how youre a big fan. age 6 or 7, thats awesome. i dont even remember what the hell i listened to when i was that age. sure as hell wasnt type o though thats for damn sure
