Amateur Tool fan checking in, got put on to them by Tical a few years back. I really like their album Lateralus, it's the only rock album
I own.

I look forward to emersing myself in more rock in general but there's just so much music out there, so many genres, so little time.

Tool is

Hell yeah Blue Oyster Cult kick ***. Anyway Behemoth is awesome in case you haven't seen them yet Physicx. I met them on the mayhemfest pretty cool dudes.

Hey which Arch Enemy did y'all prefer, Johan Liiva Arch Enemy or Angela Gossow Arch Enemy?

Johan Liiva
Black Earth
Stigmata
Burning Bridges

Angela Gossow
Wages of Sin
Anthems of Rebellion
Doomsday Machine
Rise of the Tyrant
The Root of All Evil

last night was awesome

up first was a local melodic blackened death metal band called weapon. they were surprisingly good but played a fairly long setlist that seemed like it dragged on, but i enjoyed it

next was lightning swords of death. honestly, i was just "eh" the entire time. weapon was much better

now for septic flesh. crazy. they only played like six songs but they tore it up. unfortunately the way they set up the stage was funky cause it was REALLY crammed and the drum set was almost right up the the edge of the stage. most songs were from communion which is a good thing and finished with a wall of death

behemoth's setlist was really good. nergal's voice is soooo awesome live. i was at the very front but migrated away from some dread head cause his braids kept whipping me in the face and his hair STUNK. got the middle and being the little guy that i am i was getting crushed. one of the guys from the metal club came over and pushed everyone away from me being the burly guy he is lol. i got elbowed in the face and my glasses flew off and he pushed everyone away and helped me look for them.

when i met them they were really really nice, you were right bcf. orion is TALL as !%@! but i thought he was the coolest out of all of them. there was only 2 guys other than myself at the meet and greet. "sold out" my +@%. i wish i could have brought my brother but it was an 18+ show.

always thought they were overrated and all years ago but i take it all back. i got an auto'd poster, evangelion hoodie, affliction shirt (i hate this brand but it was for free and actually pretty nice so whatever), a plain behemoth shirt and a tour shirt.

I'm so pissed off right now. It seems like every group I want to see is skipping San Antonio. I swear this sucks. There is no shows lined up. The only ones are D.R.I but I can't go because I have a speech 3 days after and my voice gives out for a week. And Paul Dianno is coming to my town for free but I'm still debating. If anyone hasn't heard. There is a tour with Megadeth, Testament, and Exodus. Megadeth is going to be playing the whole album Rust In Peace live which I would kill to see but we got skipped againt. I know you've already seen them Physicx but you better go to this one. Just to hear Five Magics, Poison was the Cure, and Lucretia would be crazy.

i dont know why tours always leave out several of the big cities and come to like saskatoon for christ sakes
smh.gif

and i found out why our date says that. apparently we dont get exodus but it doesnt really bother me cause i see them next week anyways

I heard that they put American Carnage on hold with Megadeth, Slayer, and Testament since Tom Araya is getting surgery on his back. They should be announcing more dates in the summer. I would love to see Slayer again. Anyway I don't remember making fun of you Rust for not getting dates in San Diego but congrats yall let me know how it goes. This should be epic.

Yeah the American Carnage tour was supposed to be in Portland on the 19th, I just happen to be in Portland with Mr. Fizzy Womack, it was his BD, and I was going to try to talk him into going...but yeah Tom took away that option

Though I don't know if Mr. Womack is ready for such a concert
