I always found the "display" thing to be strange. They're sneakers. To be worn. I'm not trying to build a sneaker museum.

I agree, but if they would fall apart on the first wear and its one of those "history changing" pair of shoes, then what else would youdo with them...

I mean I dont display all my vintage stuff that can not be worn and I don't wear it either....

But I store em neatly with the rest of my collection and value them as much as anything else in that closet...

To each is own... (that is the saying right, I forget)

Just contacted Corporate......$125 price tag. I'm on the fence with these, maybe they'll pop up on that auction site and I'll get themfor cheaper?

I'd say since they are quickstrikes they will hover right around the msrp for a while, depending on what other people's opinion is on em. I'mgoing to pick up my pair tonight myself.

Illphillip: Cosign, majority believes that as well.

danklef: I do not want to worship or cherish old vintage cracked/yellowed shoes. I buy shoes to wear them - fashion. Not bc they are"history changers".

You see "history", I see "old un-wearable shoes" . . . .not that I dont respect "history of air", but its not that serious,to me!

^^ 55$??!!! Definitely worth that price. . .I paid 100$ for them, and Im satisfied with that.

They are unique, as are the "Seersuckers", not for every week wearing, but every now and then they are great!
