STAY/GET BACK IN SHAPE VOL 3.0 -- A New Niketalk = A New Thread

I went from feeling like I was in my 20s in open mat, out for blood to turning 60 as soon as I got home. It was worth it.

Totally agree on filming being annoying at the gym if it's longer than a simple form check. Too many times I see folks setting up tripods and their equipment partially blocking walkways.

Young Gus was right there too

Trying to get my abs to look like this using Tonal. A more reasonable physique.

I don’t understand the wow factor with RDL and deadlifts. Unless I could get a pouch to keep my privates in front of my thighs. Sort of like a mankini. The inner thigh squeeze on heavy weights isn’t worth it

that is probably mor a result of genetics & being lean…there’s been a (questionable) statistic floating around saying there are more millionaires than folks with visible 6 pack abs; so while definitely an attainable physique maybe not a reasonable one

is there a wow factor w/deadlifts & rdls? the lifts folk do usually are related to their goals, heavy deadlifts are a great compound lift for general physical fitness because they involve so much of body, you can & probably should widen your stance if you’re crushing the family jewels

Wow. That’s a lot of millionaires.

My abs are back to being defined again. They’re just not as defined as the picture. I’m hoping after I do another AB series I’ll get there.

Working out takes my mind away from the market.

RDLs you widen your stance. At your limit, not to use your lower back you have to clench your butt and use your inner thighs. If your legs are well built chances are your inner thighs touch.

I think only squats I don’t use my inner thigh muscle on heavy weights.

any idea what your body fat % is? that in combination with some dedicated ab session will likely have your abs popping, to your potential, in less time than ab work alone.

have you tried heavy, low rep, strength work for your midsection? that in combination with getting leaner would get more definition

have you tried sumo deadlifts?

Don't expect to be eating normally if you want visible abs

visible abs = calorie deficit

If your eating more calories than your burning than your abs wont be poppin

that simple.

So be prepared to be hungry lol

Intermittent fasting is an effective practice (+ working out obviously) to get your abs visible, maintaining them is a whole 'nother discipline.
