STAY/GET BACK IN SHAPE VOL 3.0 -- A New Niketalk = A New Thread

Gonna have to come up with a new routine bc getting up at 4:30 to go workout is not for me lol. I value my sleep too damn much for that.

welp..bronchitis/sinus infection/ear infection completely took me out of the gym last tuesday through today.  Going to try to get back in tomorrow.

Completely threw me off my stronglifts

Now, I don't even know where to start again in order to follow the program.  Suggestions?

Where did you leave off? I pick up there or maybe deload a notch and start from there. Don't overthink it.

You've made your digestive tract work all night and by the time you wake up it needs a meal, especially if you ate a high carb meal. You really shouldn't be eating then doing straight to bed. Give yourself time to digest, at least 2 hours. It'll cause problems in the long run if you make this a habit.

Yah definately feel a difference.Repped
Why are you worried about it? It depends what your goals are, if you have a hard time putting on weight then eating right before bed helps. Also if you can I would try to get closer to 8 solid hours of sleep.
Just asking that's all.Repped

Thats sort of the idea.....
the sort of the idea is to tire your shoulders while doing chest and then underperform durin shoulder exercises ? to each his own i guess but i dont see any logic at it , i rather do back/bicep exercises during chest day they dont participate during chest exercises
It's been working fine. I only do Lateral, and Rear heads for shoulders. I let the pressing stimulate the front.

Your shoulders shouldn't be so used to the point you can't use them after doing chest exercises, if they are you need to check your form out. They play a role but so do many other muscles. I say the triceps should be more fatigued then the shoulders, at least for me because of where I grip the bar.

The shoulders are an accessory muscle used when performing bench therefore you do accessory movements like OHP to help with your bench on the same day. You shouldn't be using max weight with accessory work because you want to be in the 8-12 range for reps.

You really think hitting back and chest on the same day makes sense? It would be very difficult to train 2 of the biggest groups on the same day with any kind of intensity.

All my opinions are based off training for strength though. If your like having a day dedicated to each muscle group then by all means do it, but its not practical for natural lifters.

Yeah I do a push/pull split too. Sometimes do shoulders/tris on a different day than chest if I'm strapped for time.

Any of you guys mess with wild planet tuna?

It's like a solid tuna steak in a can, the taste is amazing, there is no metallic taste and a lot less of the "fishy" taste that a lot of canned tuna has. It tastes SO fresh.

It's so good, there is less mercury because the fish are troll caught when they are younger, so they have less time to accumulate mercury. At least that's what they claim.

But regardless the taste is amazing. If you haven't tried it I suggest you do.

Does anyone recommend a specif fat burner?
you can try Animal Cuts, it's a pretty popular one in the bodybuilding world.

but honestly..it's best to do it naturally instead of taking diuretics and thermos.

most bodybuilders only take Cuts before their show to help with the definition.
