TLJ is experienced an 80% drop in China from TFA’s midnight release. TLJ is currently en route to a worldwide final total of 1.35 Billion.
TFA....2 billion dollars. The difference between TLJ and TFA domestically will be 300+ million.

LEGO leak of the Imperial Range Trooper from Solo. Makes sense it’d have the same feel of R1 Troopers. I dig it.

While 3 is a better overall film than 1 and 2 and it’s my personal favorite of the prequels to watch, for me it’s the film that made all three prequels awful. For me the #1 purpose of the prequels was to show Vader’s turn and for me his turn was the worst plot element in the whole series. Whereas 1 and 2 have some plot elements I actually enjoyed like Palp playing the TF behind the scenes and Dooku’s misdirection.
Likewise, I believe 7 and 8 will ultimately be judged in part by how effective the payoff is in 9.

Nice find. Wonder if the Range Trooper are like Biker Scouts i.e. upper armor, no lower and pouches?. Really hoping the plot is more than just the Kessel Run. Already had enough of chase movies.

TPM broke a billi, the first Star Wars to do so. It was the biggest Star Wars ever at that point and time. AotC opened bigger than TPM. Just like ESB opened bigger than ANH. TLJ didn’t open bigger than TFA....I never said TLJ was a failure. It’s quite the opposite. I’m sure Disney would take a billion dollar film and top 10 highest grossing film of all time but I’m sure they will notice the 650-700 mil difference between TFA and TLJ. 250-300 mil difference domestically. Very interesting...
Nothing interesting about it, you're reaching as always. TFA was a freak of nature, this film was never gonna touch it, even if Vader himself walked on screen to tell Rey she was a Skywalker.

Episode 9 will finish in the same vicinity.
Solo won't do those numbers, likely won't reach R1, but it'll still do 400+ domestic and approach a billion WW. And that will be looked on as a "failure".

solo movies probably gonna have a GotG feel to em (humorous space adventure) hopefully they’re more like R1 though.

You got a Star Wars film releasing every year. Solo breaking not breaking a billion is one thing but if it doesn’t break a billion because it is an unfavorable film than the chatter really turns up

But who is predicting the solo movie to do over a bill?
I see them kinda like the MCU movies.. Star Wars proper is like avengers and will always do 200-500 mill more than the other films
