Chico was nothing more than another Gatti.
They both produced great, action pack fights (Castillo, Ward trilogy)
but they were never elite fighters.

A modern day Mancini or Little Red.

Youre saying that after his career is over.  When they fought..they were both undefeated pro fighters. And most thought, Chico's game would overwhelm PBF...

He was forced into that weight which was nearly impossible for him AT THE TIME due to circumstances outside boxing. Before in his career he could do 130 and even after he made that weight a few more times easily but he knew he couldn't make that weight safely at all AT THAT TIME but he had no choice because a catch-weight was rejected flat-out. If you recall he was actually eating a sandwhich in his locker room right before the fight and the night of the fight he weighed in at 146 pounds for a 130 pound fight.

And you saying "if i really did watch boxing" is so laughable i don't even know how to respond properly. i have probably seen more fights live then you've seen on tv kid.

I know right. How are you guys going to call a racist person racist when wawaweewa has met racist people that look like you? You guys better stop, were laughing over here.

Don't even try to make it seem like this generalization isn't true. It doesn't apply to 100% of Fillipinos. So what. Go cry somewhere else.
Fillipino's crying racist against Blacks. What's next? WASP's complaining about discrimination?

if this fight happens, it would probably be a good one. but who knows if it will ever happen.

I seriously doubt you've watched more fights than me. And I'm only 22 years old.  I've seen more fights LIVE than you've watched in your lifetime.

He made weight and fought.  Are you saying it wouldve been different if they fought at 135? LOL.

No way in hell has someone 22 years old seen more fights live then me. It's a damn near impossibility.

And for you to "LOL" about a 5 pound weight difference says a lot.

You talk about a fight like you were actually there that took place when you were like what...12 years old?

How about the corrales castillo fights? Did a few pounds weight difference matter in those fights?

What about de la hoya pacman? That fight goes down the same 5 pounds higher right? Or even pac cotto? Mayweather refuse to make the weight even tho he was fighting a MUCH smaller man in marquez cause 5 pounds doesn't matter right?

i've personally seen 2 people lose their lives in the hospital after draining weight too much before a fight and fighting anyway.

Although I agree with Manglor with the weight being a big issue in boxing, Mayweather would have always dominated Corrales.
Two different classes of fighter.

And Toney is  one of the greatest of all time, him vs Hagler and Monzon would be very interesting....

Ay Club, you think B.J can evr beat Edgar? or is it just a styles thing?

BJ looked sluggish and unmotivated in his last fight (much like he did in the first fight with Edgar)

Not to mention Edgar is very quick on his feet. He could probably fight at 145 if he wanted to.

BJ just couldnt keep up
