Chico and PBF were both undefeated 130 lbers when they matched up. How was Chico "forced" to 130, when he was campaigning at that weight? If you really did watch boxing, you would know that Chico was the favorite to win that bout.
Chico was nothing more than another Gatti.
They both produced great, action pack fights (Castillo, Ward trilogy)
but they were never elite fighters.
A modern day Mancini or Little Red.
Youre saying that after his career is over. When they fought..they were both undefeated pro fighters. And most thought, Chico's game would overwhelm PBF...
He was forced into that weight which was nearly impossible for him AT THE TIME due to circumstances outside boxing. Before in his career he could do 130 and even after he made that weight a few more times easily but he knew he couldn't make that weight safely at all AT THAT TIME but he had no choice because a catch-weight was rejected flat-out. If you recall he was actually eating a sandwhich in his locker room right before the fight and the night of the fight he weighed in at 146 pounds for a 130 pound fight.
And you saying "if i really did watch boxing" is so laughable i don't even know how to respond properly. i have probably seen more fights live then you've seen on tv kid.
