Of course _’s ain’t judging Future, 21 etc that hard, they not that type of rapper. _’s understand it’s more about the feel w them

‘_’s are still critical tho. A lot of the topical punchline dudes like Sean, Fab etc have been branded as corny and outdated outside of their core fanbase. Even somebody like Cyhi gets a lot of hate and called corny for his style

Money, Power, Respect was hit or miss as a whole (but the hits were HITS) but We Are The Streets was amazing. Montega's problem is he tried to make traditional mainstream albums and follow the blue prints of people like Hov instead of doing what he's good at. Aggressive hardcore street music with thought provoking content sprinkled in. Which is exactly why Styles thrived, he caught a hit with Good Times and after that he did what he was comfortable with. Kiss might not be the most popular or known but the dudes people prop up as "g.o.a.t" know what it is whether its about him individually or the LOX as a whole
