Trippie really getting show money :lol

It really is the best era of beats though. Partially because it's very easy and simple to do now. Theres no restrictions now and we have Daws that can keep you in scale. No need for big *** modules anymore cause there's programs like omnisphere 2 and nexus. ASR-10's and Mpcs had restrictions, MacBooks dont.

Then that goes against what you said. It's easy, so anybody is doing it.

And there are restrictions, because increased technology doesn't mean it's better. New music lacks grit and soul.

Beside it also being ok to sound like other producers and them not having unique sounds and styles.

If Logic was darker and actually looked more black his career is going a different way.

But most of Logic's hook is he's a "safer" rapper because he looks so white. His whole career and sound changes if you brown him up

He and TIP the same color though

Nah bruh. On top of that Logic just looks like a white dude.

As far as the whole colorism thing though, colorism is a definite element of society as a whole, so you'd be wrong to say it makes NO difference whatsoever. As long as it exists in society it's always gonna be an element that effects your image.

But on the flipside being darkskinned definitely ain't killin dudes careers at all. There's a bunch of reasons why Wale never got to the level he thinks he shoulda been on, and being darkskin would be at the very bottom of the list, if it's there at all.

Logic ain't getting that 1800 song off the way it blew if he shows up the color of big Sean (I consider them on the same level of artist)

He also seems hurt that he's not accepted by the black community. I can't think of any other reason as to why he continually wants to beat people over the head with his biracial identity.

Not really big on SR3MM or whatever it's called. That juicy J song goes and T up.

lol

today has the best potential for beats people just locked into the same formulas

id say late 90’s/early 2000’s was the best era overall for beats tho. dungeon fam mannie fresh timbo pharrell darkchild swizz beats etc
cant forget about trackmasters ,chocolate boy wonder pete rock, and primo
