Out of all the sword and sorcery films in the 80’s -90’s, this one is by far my favorite. I could write a book. 7.9/8

“Clyde itll take me all day to kiss yo fat ***.”

Can anyone guess the movie?

Also, can anyone recommend of the world type movies? Can be zombie related or pandemic related but more so natural/unnatural disaster type movies (no alien invasion type movies).

2012
Day After Tomorrow
San Andreas
WWZ
Contagion
Outbreak
Leave the World Behind

Some of the ones ive seen. It doesnt have to be an Oscar worthy movie, it can be a popcorn flick. I enjoyed San Andreas a lot and that was type garbage.

Underrated disaster movie. Kinda got lost in the shuffle in the middle of the pandemic.

It was tracking for 120m just a few weeks ago, that ending leak and the horrible word of mouth is gonna kill it early.

Still will always be a bizarre decision to make the sequel into a sort of musical given the tone of the first one :lol.

See this is why I don't trust you.

You know my beliefs of the first film. It was 2 films in one, kind of. Like those choose your own adventures type books from back in the day.

You could watch the film straight up. Or, realize you were watching a film inside Joker's head and all of it was his imagination. (Which, imo, made it even greater)

To me, that's insanely clever writing/directing, and of alllllllllll the characters in the world, he's the one it works for. It doesn't work for Darth Vader, or Thanos, or Megatron etc etc. But Joker? :eek

J Phoenix did a terrific terrific job, but man........if we could have seen something similar thru Heath...... :(

So, imo, Joker was greatness. So layered and chaotic and messy, exactly who Joker is.

Fist time:

10 minutes in.
This is... rough.
Overacting, spoonfed dialogue.
Nothing about this is organic and believable.

Ohhhhhhhhh, just wait.....
Does Christopher Nolan start directing midway through?
Clint Eastwood dies, Morgan Freeman trains Hillary Swank, right?

She just won her first fight in the most campy scene ever. Frankie decided to take her on and *POOF* she magically learns to have a powerful right... in 5 seconds.

This might b
Duty called. 🤬
See, this is why I hate watching movies during the day and I tell you all I hardly have any time to watch movies. MFers don't believe me when I say it. Barely got an hour in and...

... anyways, back at it. She just cracked some chick's eardrum and was offered a 60/40 split for some big fight.
Bought mama's ungrateful *censored* a house. "Shoulda just gave me the money." 🫤🙃

Alright... coffee & caramel popcorn in hand.
🗣Quiet up front!!!

Nah, it's not going to be that Frankie dies and then Eddie takes over training Maggie.

Maggie's gonna die. 👀

This Billie girl is working her, but I don't like a few things regarding their depiction of her as a villain. Sith hoodie, breaking rules, and of course, Hollywood had to make her a black boxer. Fictional story with a non-POC villain? Tuh!
