SS&S night 3:
Out of all the sword and sorcery films in the 80’s -90’s, this one is by far my favorite. I could write a book. 7.9/8
For all its faults I do love it - it's been dying for a remake for a while - but it wouldn't be the same without Connery playing the Egyptian Ramirez.
No matter what kind if costumes you put him in, wigs/make up you put on him, Sean Connery is always Sean Connery and it’s awesomeDude was the swaggiest character of all time
Any movie suggestions for movies that either end badly or end with the main problem being unresolved. All I got:
- Life (2017)
- We Need to Talk About Kevin
Only non-horror title I’m coming up with that kind of fits that description is Gone Baby Gone, which you’ve probably already seen.Any movie suggestions for movies that either end badly or end with the main problem being unresolved. All I got:

I haven't seen it, but the reason for my original post was because my son literally said last night that he wants to watch a movie that either ends badly or ends with the main problem unresolved. He has seen none of the Alien movies. I've only seen the first 3.Alien Covenant
Oooooohhhhh, that's a gggggoooodd oneeee!!!! I definitely remember loving it as I was watching it, and I'm pretty sure I remember the ending had me like "Ffffuuuuuu..."Only non-horror title I’m coming up with that kind of fits that description is Gone Baby Gone, which you’ve probably already seen.
She’s alive, but the twist is with where they find her and how it all ultimately winds up. It’s interesting because people can disagree about whether the “right” thing happened in the end.Oooooohhhhh, that's a gggggoooodd oneeee!!!! Wasn't that... they were looking for the girl the whole movie with the thought that she was alive and then... nah? Am I misremembering? Confusing it with Prisoners?
