if wright doesn't fit in as our ideal pf, let him run at the 3. he'll be a mix between shawn marion & ak47 and will damn well give whoeverhe's guarding a hard time (i'm picturing putting him on the other team's point guards, shooting guards and small forwards).

As for Wright and Marco, I'd also imagine they'll get some burn of at least 20 mins....I wouldn't be surprised if you see Marco running some backup point along side Monta if Monta is going to be the scorer everyone assumes he will be.

ummm i would say Warriors took a big fat L...first the warriors wanted to draft Al Thornton (2nd leading scorer among rookies) but for some reasonbobcats drafted brandan wrONG and warriors couldnt undo the deal....second warriors wanted to use that trade to get KG....third Jason Richardson beat theWarriors that ultimately !%*!@% over the playoffs for the warriors...fourth Jason Richardson hit the 4th most threes of all time in an NBA season at 40%(warriors couldve sure used that)...

Warriors took the ultimate L

All small forwards need to drain the mid-range at least. Wright can't hit it constantly... that'll be something he'll need to work on ifhe's going to be an SF.

i wouldn't go so far as to say jrich screwed thewarriors out of the playoffs. i really don't remember you talking any type of *@*@ when he went 2 for 11 or whatever that ugly number was in oakland. andwow, he made 40% from 3s? that's impressive. love jrich, but i love the fact that we traded his contract for the opportunity to resign monta and beansthis season even more. whether you think the warriors took the ultimate L from that is up to you.

and as far as wright playing the 3 goes, he'll be fine imo. marion didn't develop an outside shot til his later years in the league and i see wrightdoing just the same. he'll bring defense, energy and hustle whenever he's on the floor.

exactly, if Wright/Belinelli/(even POB) don't get meaningful PT, of course they're not "ready". IMO, Nellie should have let them easeinto the rotation...start them off with maybe 5-10 mins a game in Nov, and maybe come March/April they would be getting 20-25 at least.

And Darrell Arthur is pretty good, he could be a nice PF for us. Kevin Love is somewhat intriguing, but my biggest fear is that he's too slow for us, andhis outlet pass is supremely overrated (imo at least..), although he has a nice overall game and could be like Brad Miller. I really like Chris Douglas-Robertssince he'd be a nice 2-3 and adds a nice dimension to our offense. These are the realistic options other than Rose

I really hope we make a run at Mike Miller. Harrington for Miller anyone?

If we're gonna shoot so many 3's we might as well let someone who canshoot them well consistently take the shots.

It'd be nice to have another 3 point shooting specialist tho (Belinelli i guess counts but it doesnt hurt to have another). Given the fact harrington seemsto be diminished to being a 3pt-specialist on this team, let's get a shooter for him

yes we should do that right away! trade away all our big men so we can play even more undersized basketball! After that we can put Perovic at the 5!let's totally forget about rebounding as well while we're at it

Azubuike already said he's leaving, Barnes should be gone, Pietrus is 50-50, POB said he's leaving. Brand already said he loves the Clippers.

We might be able to get Love at 14 anyway, and lopez (robin) should be there no matter what...we should NOT trade that draft pick unless it means moving up inthe draft or somehow acquiring a Knicks' 1st round draft pick.
