Depends how desperate teams get. With retirement, cuts, etc. a lot of teams will have open QB spots this upcoming year and the draft class looks horrible. If your team has a decent foundation, you might be willing to give up some picks to help fill in the gap. Jimmy may not be the superstar but he's proven that he can lead a team and knows what a winning culture is like.

Hopefully John Lynch can work his magic and get us something good in return.

And then I’d like to see the pick Jimmy is traded for + our very early second round pick traded so that 9ers pick in first round of draft
