With the bonus they basically guaranteed his 2021 salary in 2020 as well

might as well say his new contract starts now and that 2020-2022 are already guaranteed at that rate Not just 2021-2022

Anyway sucks about Hurd but Ima stay Faithful not a Savage and just hope he recovers Someday and finds health and peace.

also related I have a great feeling about Ayuk and Jujuan Jennings Already So I don’t think missing Hurd at WR will be that much of an issue.

If there’s money left over 49ers need to look into adding Clowney 1 year deal to spell Dee Ford.

Expensive player for a guy who wouldn’t be playing majority snaps but, when that motor running he’s a very impactful player.

Yeah I was hoping surprise Clowney signing once Kittle was locked up depending on what finances were left for 2020.

Heard Dee Ford looking healthy though. I wanna see him in full reps not limited. Plus Clowney not budging on his 17 mil. Feel like he’s waiting for someone to get injured.

man im hoping bruh breaks out of that sophomore slump and can get out of shanny's doghouse. rookie season, i remember us salivating over the sharpness of his route running

i like to clown on him cause he leads the cheer squad on the sideline but i hope he steps up. like you said he showed flashes of being a very capable wide out

I totally understand it takes a certain mindset and attitude to attain a certain level of success as an NFL player. And clearly we don't know if Pettis has that.

But he is quick, runs great routes and has good hands. Those three things in and of themselves should allow a player to at least have decent success IMO.

Hope he puts it together this year. Like you, I was hoping for big things after his rookie season.

Bosa is going to have a huge ****ing year. He looked incredible in the Superbowl, and I think he has a higher ceiling than even I envisioned. I wish we could see this battle.

Yup, bout to put money on him as DPOY

This is great news, but this is the easy part of the season. It's going to be a lot more difficult to keep everyone covid free when they're flying around the country.

Players can’t be selfish by going out to clubs or Casinos. That’s what got the Marlins and Cardinals....

In other news looks like 49ers fan favorite Aaron Lynch is retiring lol. Never did reach his potential.

if the NFL is able to effectively manage Covid19 and have a full season without it impacting the quality of games, give goddell and their scientists a nobel prize.

i feel like a family of 10 people can't even have a back yard bbq without someone contracting this ****. a full season of close to 2,000 dudes flying all over the country.. that **** would be astonishing.

Damn man we were all looking forward to seeing Hurd out there and while that is a bummer, I feel terrible for the guy. Freak athlete and physical specimen but having a body that continuously fails you and prevents you from living out your dream(likely at a high level) has to **** with your mental well being just as much. hope he’s able to overcome it and get back out there and stay healthy whether its with us or someone else

wanna see kendrick bourne take that next step. dude was a stud in the redzone last year.. but those drops between the 20s gotta go

he seemed to drop the easy ones but came up clutch under pressure. if he can focus on the catch before the run he’s gonna be money

I also have this vague recollection that almost all of his drops were on passes above the numbers (or above his eyes). Not saying they shouldn't have been caught, but I did find it interesting. He wasn't dropping passes below his eye level much if at all.
