I said this before and I'll say it again, now is a catastrophic time to start a trade war back up with China. Its absolutely terrible policy and its going to lead to further defaults in all industries and additional unemployment. All this president knows how to do is stoke fear, anger, and hatred.

They talk daily about canceling the China trade deal inside the White House, but it looks like he got played real good this time.

Trump is their protest, and without actual injustices to stand against, thst feeling of fighting for something important gets complacent. So they sprinkle some rhetoric about something they know their base feels strongest about, like a person of color rightfully "spying" on their leader and making it seem like they are being treated as second class citizens to stoke the flames of their so called injustices of having to live amongst so much turmoil due to what these immigrants and people of color bring. This is being played out slowly, and will continue until he is out of office, but the scars and damage created from trying to breath life into a dying movement only emboldens those who feel their self appointed supremacy is fading. He is and always had it all on the table, which is why his people love him. He will not concede, which im sure his base would love to help fight for him and carry their beliefs into the future. This is dangerous grounds we are entering, i suspect there will be escalating violence toward protesters from trump supporters, and these evil people will be treated as heros by the scum whod rather die than see a minority or woman hold more power than themself.

Well said. The ANTIFA thing has bothered me particularly because it feels no different than the 'fake news' calls that it seems a a lot more people have adopted. It really is a slippery slope, and there's no real way to slow the slide now. It's the slow erosion of our trust in two extremely important pillars in a 'free' society. People just continue to co-opt Trump's rhetoric taking us further and further down that road. It really is a perfect storm.

That's not to say that ANTIFA can't be responsible for some negative things, but I swear it wasn't this broad label for all protesters the way BLM has become in the past few years.
