The question that's been bugging me lately.

What do republicans think is going to happen at the end of all this?



So after grabbing Merrick Garlands seat they nominate, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and let's say RBG dies, and they nominate Amy Comey Barett.


Then the Supreme Court completely dismantles unions, basically destroys all government regulatory agencies by axing Chevron deference, they kill Obamacare and basically all other attempts at socialized medicine, they remove all limits on campaign financing, kill any civil rights enforcement, increase restrictions on voting, and the deliver on verdict after another in favor of capital.

an then to top it all off they kill Roe v. Wade.


What happens then? Is it really gonna be sweet? These things are unpopular and are opposed by much of the country, do you think you can have a stable society when like a few billionaires and the 33% of the country that's in their thrall destroy liberal democracy?


America is in for some scary hours. imo.

That’s when I wave and move back to Europe. I ain’t dealing with all that when it comes to it.

But I don’t want it to get there. RBG needs to stay alive for another 3 years.

oh yeah, imagine if Kavanaugh is the key vote than essentially ends all investigations of the president, prevents him from being deposed, and allows him to use pardons with curropt intent.

Yeah that too, so the supreme court, with 6 justices nominate, by a 2 presidents that didn't win the popular vote, one of which is view as completely illegitimate by like 40% of the country.


Have Republicans really thought about what happens at the end of all this?

You are gunna fundamentally alter American democracy with like 60% of the country opposed. What is going to happen?

The GOP has the same attitude it has about American democracy as it does to climate change.

That's why we need to get out and vote, especially if you're in a state or district that can knock a Republican out of a seat. Donate to campaigns (even if it's a small amount), including campaigns that don't directly affect you. Talk to friends and family.

I agree.

I'ma keep it 100 though them don't tread on me backwoods militia types and their clean cut leaders are waiting for a reason to rise up and get their Christian terror on. Those kinda people and their leaders will likely be the cause of any kind of war on American soil between it's citizens.

I'm not saying it's going down..... But I am saying it wouldn't surprise me.

Do these things. But as you do them, learn to eat properly, exercise, defend yourself and your home, grow and hunt food if you can. Just in case
