Thread at 5k posts! Love the discourse even if some people refuse to banter in good faith ... There isn't a single topic I will dodge purposely ... So if I miss something let me know ...
The ignore button is the bees knees though ... I have taken out roughly 3 people who just continually post that I'm a racist and bigot and refuse to even consider an alternative viewpoint ... All because I see things a little differently and believe that you can support Trump's good policies without supporting his penchant for buffoonery ...
You do often dodge replies though, at least in my experience.
I think it was yesterday or the day before that there was a discussion about trickle-down economics and I replied to your post with a very lengthy reply on trickle-down economics and why looking at the economy or wage growth in a vaccuum is a bad idea. You even liked the post but offered no response or rebuttal of any kind.

When you were celebrating Kim's move in April to shut down a nuclear facility as a huge victory and "accomplished what all Americans wanted", I replied to you, referring to your celebration as premature and refuted your claim that nothing had been posted about NK despite myself posting about it a number of times.
I laid out background information about Kim's clever tactics to make it seem like he gave a concession when in reality he didn't. Clearly it worked.
What you and others seemed to miss at the time though was that Chinese scientists had discovered previous nuclear tests had caused parts of the surrounding mountain to collapse on the facility, rendering it unsafe. North Korean state media also explicitly stated that they shut down the site "
because they have mastered the technology and don't need further testing."
Whether that was true or not, it clearly showed Kim's intent. He didn't just provide a concession in good will, though he certainly tried to advertise it as such. What he did was shutting down a facility that was already critically damaged from NK's previous nuclear testing at that facility. He then tried to advertise it as a major concession to the rest of the world, which seemed to work pretty well to his credit. Good tactical move from Kim.
I then asked what exactly was accomplished "that all Americans wanted" when all Kim did was shut down a badly damaged facility. As we now know, NK unsurprisingly has continued expanding their nuclear program after the June 12 summit in Singapore.
On top of that, it was Kim who walked away from the summit with a victory in hand. He got a major concession out of Trump with the suspension of joint-military drills Kim had been pushing for some time. In spite of Kim not really doing anything to deserve a concession at that time.
I then expanded the subject to foreign policy and the concept of soft power and its importance.
Yet you ignored every bit of that direct reply to your post.

You dropped a drive-by post complaining about no posts on North Korea shutting down that nuclear facility, which was false because I had done so, but then dodged further discussion when I replied.
I'm sure there's more examples but those are 2 examples that immediately came to mind.
Again, I don't mind discussing/arguing with anyone. You claim to value discussion but selectively answer questions and generally limit yourself to very brief responses. When your argument is challenged, particularly with a lengthy reply, you tend to go missing.
I may think Dwalk is often trolling with the kind of responses he gives but to his credit I he usually at least responds to questions or replies when he's posting.
