That man spent years of his life supporting and defending that man

Still can’t call him a racist or criminal

AND spent years defending pedos (word to aepps20 aepps20 )

I blame anyone who don’t know at this point

But that’s why it’s important to never let people forget.. ain’t like them years was that long ago and he only supposedly jumped shipped after dude caught another public L

He's not a person that we should respect or waste time engaging. No low is too low for him. When you're on the side of Pedophiles you're on the wrong side and not a person who's views I care to know about.

I’m going to be honest with you guys, because I like you guys, you guys are way more knowledgeable in the realm of politics than I am, but I’ve just been catching up on this just recently, watching CNN, and I will say, and this is just me, but there is something about Sara Sidner…… and S.E. Cupp tho. That is it, please continue amongst yourselves and I’ll show myself out.

Bruh, SOME white folks are angry AF today. My rich boss’s 25 year old son came into the office today trying to get me to debate the point of the Trump Raid and the Inflation Reduction Act. He was fired up, I didn’t take the bait. Lol
FYP

Personally I'm stockpiling fireworks for the day that bastard is indicted.

Legally, without consequences.

The consequences likely include:

National security risks and violations of privacy rights of certain individuals. That’s probably why they were sealed in the first place.

But what do I know, courts just seal documents for no reason I guess.

Sorta related but had the TV on and they were plugging SE's show in the background it kept saying "This is S.E. Kupp" over and over, I was so confused till they showed the name.

Serious question, if this is about documents that Trump didn’t return, and the FBI got them back, then……. how does one prove that Trump intended to deprive the Gov of the docs? Also, on a scale of 1-10, how serious is this really?

YSL level of self *******.

Anyway I just popped in here to say I hope the POS finally gets what he deserves. If they let this idiot run again this country is doomed, probably along with the rest of the world. Or our demise might actually save the rest of the world, or at least delay it.

How serious do you think it is when the FBI raids your house?

Now ask yourself how serious you think this is when youre a former president who is also a major POS. The question is, when he does go to jail, will he just get pardoned from his Holiday Inn Express or not.

Don’t know the 1-10 level but if I’m reading it right the problem is that he took them from the WH/archives whatever in the first place.

You’re right. President Biden could also tweet the nuclear codes I guess.
All I said was that Trump could release the warrant. That was in response to Republican officials on Twitter furiously demanding that the FBI/DOJ make the warrant public.

You explicitly and clearly stated you disagreed with my assertion that he has that authority.

I never said it would be a smart move for him or anything but if all those Repubs are so mad about the warrant being inaccessible by the public, they could just ask Trump.

I’ve got to think that the content of the particular documents in question is more of an issue than the documents just being classified.

For this to take place, you have to think the DOJ has an arrest warrant coming soon with a more or less slam dunk case for a conviction.

Pretty remarkable that dacomeup dacomeup is co-signing the nonsense as well. I’m sure he’s not advising clients to disclose sealed documents/information to the public.
No disrespect, but your arms are entirely too short to box with the God. Let’s not go down this legal/moral/competence lane because that won’t end well for you.

it would be a horrible miscalculation if that’s not the case or at least something just as significant.

anyway, today my co-worker said she was “ready for war” but my boss told her that this was a 5d stratego move so that the precedent is already set for when they raid the obamas and clintons. he was dead serious too.

my face when i heard that…

Go down whatever lane you like, my stance remains the same. I’ll be fine.

He took classified documents with him out of the WH and held them post-presidency illegally. The government did indeed previously ask to return the docs and Trump did return docs that were confirmed classified docs by the National Archives.

Based on the reporting of what was taken, I think the raid is about him possibly hiding more classified documents that he illegally took and held on to after his presidency.
The feds reportedly took about 10 boxes of documents and part of the warrant included the opening of a safe.

I don’t think it’s just about the classified documents he took and returned when the government requested them (he delayed the return for months) after it was reported that he took and kept such docs at Mar-a-Lago. I don’t see why they’d need a raid and open a safe if this is purely about that.

Remember, someone tipped off reporters about the classified docs in the first place before the government seemed to know.
To me it seems most likely the FBI/DOJ suspects he didn’t return all of them after claiming to comply with the return request.
The warrant means they convinced a judge that there’s a sufficient likelihood that a raid would turn up evidence of the crime(s) the FBI/DOJ suspect him of. The warrant would contain an explanation, affidavit, … laying out the evidentiary basis they have to support that assertion that this raid would turn up evidence of the crime(s) they’re investigating.

The bar for that basis was presumably very high, after all the approval would and did set off a political firestorm. Whoever inside Trump’s Mar-a-Lago circle told reporters about the classified docs could be a cooperator in the criminal investigation and might have knowledge about whether or not he did return all the classified docs he possessed. Either way the evidentiary basis for the warrant would’ve presumably had to be rock solid and approved at the highest levels of the DOJ and FBI.
