**** Vs. Joes

This can’t be good for Desantis’ in the next election right?
Is there a good challenger on the horizon?

He barely won in 2018, and the death count in Florida has far surpassed that margin (about 42,000 to 32,000). And, that will only increase. Desantis is going all in on a presidential run in 2024. He doesn't care about Florida.

It wasn't evangelical women trying to shut down OF, it was the threat of VISA/Mastercard not processing payments. Same thing happened to *******, who complied by deleting 70% of its uploads and now only allows verified users, and yet VISA/MC still won't process payments. Sucks for the content creators, but it's the credit card companies looking out for themselves after some high profile incidents of underage/coerced porn appearing on those platforms. They can't be complicit in that.

Religious groups were going after them too

And MasterCard did not act alone. It was pressured into this decision by groups like Exodus Cry and the National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCOSE), both of which have waged years-long campaigns against sites like ******** and ******* with the ultimate aim of abolishing the sex-work industry entirely.
