Official Pizza Appreciation!

Home Run Inn is the best frozen pizza.
Home Run Inn is my #2. I gotta give #1 to Motor City Pizza tho.

3rd for me would be Signature Select Ultra Thin Crust. Jewel carries them. The Spicy Italian Sausage & Tomatoes is the best one.

That tavern style looks just up my alley 🔥 thin and crispy
I need to try Neapolitan and Detroit style too

If you want the best frozen Detroit Style Pizza it's Motor City Pizza. You can find them at your Walmart. Not only the best Detroit Style but arguably the best frozen pizza in the game right now. Crust stays crisp & fluffy and is as close to a restaurant style pizza as your gonna get frozen wise.

Edit: I just realized you're talking about the pans 🤦‍♂️

Grabbed the motor city pizza, it is good. Just finished the whole thing in like 25 mins 😂 thoroughly enjoyed it. Preciate the recommendation

I used to get a frozen deep dish from Dominick's when they were still around Chicago. I don't think it was homerun or gino's, might have been a local brand but was good and non-expensive.

Think i'll order some pizza tomorrow and pig out. uber eats sent me a coupon and I got a giftcard. The spot I order from has the worst garlic knots though, SMH.

A little bird told me Gullivers on Howard is closing it's doors for the last time on the 15th after 57 years. Gullivers was founded by Chicago Pizza Legend Burt Kats who later opened Pequods & Burts Place in Morton Grove. This was his first Pizza joint. Sad to see this place go. Places like these are a dying breed. Here for one last hurrah.

Nah it’s been around for a few years. It’s a good pan pizza. Similar to Jet’s but frozen and no options for crust flavors.

Can you post the recipe?

Looks good.

The dough I followed this breakdown from a yt vid

Edit: I used Bread Flour instead of AP

The vid:

Did my sauce a little scaled down. Crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, olive oil, salt, sugar and "Italian" blend of dried spices

I subbed Jimmy Dean sausage and Pepperoni slices instead of his sausage recipe and used whole milk mozz
