not to be a homer, but chara deserves it the most. i realize mike green had a bajillion goals, but i'd rather have chara on my team.
Word. Goals shouldn't even be a thought, but I know thats impossible for all voters. If Playoffs counted, Chara woulda locked it up lastnight. He blocked two wide open net goals from going in.

As for goalies, Henrik is definitely at least debatable for top 5. Top one to me is Luongo no doubt. Nabby, Timmy, Henrik, Ward and Brodeur all make up a top 6for me in no order. Ryan Miller is a little overrated to me. Mason is on the way to top 5. No way Kiprusoff is top 5.

Chara should get the Norris, IMO... Green is a phenominal player but in all honesty, the guy doesn't play any defense whatsoever. He's like a 4thforward out there.

All three are deserving of the award but I think it should be Chara's trophy this year.

Get outta here w. the BS about making conference finals etc....he has more playoff success than a guy like Luongo, but I don't see you putting Ward at thetop of that list. It's no disrespect to Ward, but Lundqvist TROUNCES everything that Ward has done in his career (save the finals run in his rookieseason)...and again, if you want to play that "postseason" success card, then get Luongo out of your top 5...

According to those stats, Lundqvist has played 40 more games. He has a better GAA and SV%. To me the big thing is he's only allowed 6 more goals in 40 moregames. I am def not a Rangers fan, everyone know this, so fo rme to be backing up Lundqvist is kinda weird. There is absolutely no question in my mind and mostpeople who follow hockey that he is not even close to being comparable to Cam Ward. Ward is on the level below Brodeur, Luongo, Nabokov, Kipprusoff, andLundqvist. That level includes Tim Thomas, Ryan Miller, and Tomas Vokoun in my opinion. Ward belongs in the second group, solid goaltenders, but not the bestin the league.

I personally think the Rangers defensive brand helps Hendrik quite a bit,while Carolina takes more chances with pinching D-Men. Pitkanen, Corvo, and Seidenberg are notorious for it... Rangers have who... Rosival and maybe Staal?

Nice shot at Lu, though. With him, you will have to excuse me if I amnot looking at playoff experience.

Do you even know what those trophys you listed are for? Sure a goalie can win something like the Masterson, but it's given to a player who has come backfrom illness, injury, etc....Calder...ROY....if you are a goalie and you win the Pearson, you are probably the Vezina winner (Hasek)....Jennings goes to theDUO who has the lowest GAA for the year...none of those aside from MAYBE the Pearson (which you will most likely be the Vezina winner as well) is asdistinguished as the Vezina for a goalie to win.

Sorry, I was basing that on the Rangers of this year. I should have stated that. With Redden, Mara, and Morris (to an extent). I know, thatdoesn't explain Lundqvists previous seasons, but this year.
