As of a couple minutes ago, the #Giants and @NFL were trying to make sense of why Josh Norman was carrying a black bat on the field pregame
Evolution did a terrible job with knees
This season every team In the league it seems has been hit with devastating injuries. But this is huge no doubt... Saddening because ty would have balled out his mind in the playoffs. Worst part the game was over already when the non can't act injury happenedcards just cant catch a break
In pregame warmups, at least one Panthers official, and possibly more, carried black baseball bats on to the field and were motioning with them towards Odell Beckham Jr. while making comments to him, per a league source. Norman later grabbed the black bat and was swinging it in pregame warmups – which, by the way, an NFL Films camera captured. Beckham, according to another source, felt threatened and it helped put him in a certain frame of mind. It does not excuse what he did during the course of the game, but it does explain what led up to the battle that still is the talk of the league today.

What Odell did was wrong.
That Norman/OBJ match up went from intrigue to embarrassment. They both looked absolutely foolish. There was nothing "tough" about it.
Norman is no angel, and I'm pretty sure nobody said that he was. He should get a nice heavy fine. Honestly, his antics are very annoying. I don't like it.
BUT
Are people really serious about OBJ not getting suspended?? Or are they just Giants fans/Panthers haters?
One ran in like a damn missile at the other's head, while he was not looking and could have paralyzed him. The other didn't do that. And you want them to BOTH have the same punishment??
This whole "the NFL is soft if they suspend OBJ" campaign is tired, man. There was nothing "tough" about that damn play.
What Odell did also happens in the league all the time sadly
If the NFL suspends him it will be only because of the notoriety the situation is getting
Peep this.
Same hit, worse outcome and he probably wont get suspended.
Player Update On #BATGATECome on now my boys carry the bat with them as it symbolizes my presence still being with them at the game and the NFL has a problem???
