The Knicks actually do have a chance to make the playoffs.

They are about 6 games behind for the 8th spot.

And plus they are in the East.

^tweaked his ankle.

and please dont mention the playoffs (No Jim Mora) because we'll be killed in the 1st round by either the Cs or the Pistons.

Final thoughts

There's bad and then there's the Knicks. Anytime Sonics fans want to groan and bemoan how terrible their team is, they need to take a long look atthe Knicks and thank the basketball gods that Isiah Thomas isn't coaching this team.

Ok that's a little harsh. Isiah the coach isn't so bad, but Isiah the GM is horrible. Case in point is New York's broken down lineup ofmismatching parts.

Spoke with Rainier Beach boys Jamal Crawford and Nate Robinson afterward. Crawford is ready for a new change of venue. He told me he's making the bestof a tough situation, but wouldn't mind being traded. He talked about returning to Seattle and playing here, but then a lot of the Seattle guys say that.Crawford seemed serious, however, there's nothing in the works and it probably will never happen because he essentially plays Kevin Durant'sposition.

And this I don't get...

Why do people say Isiah is a decent coach?????????

A decent coach isn't 14-31.

Isiah is best at talent evaluating. He should just be a scout, in a perfect world.

^^^honestly, the knicks have great talent on that squad. We just need a coach who can bring the players together. Isiah is good at scouting, but sucks atcoaching.

When you start Curry and Mardy Collins, you are NOT a good coach.
When you tell Marbury that you want to reduce his role after a 2-3 start, you are NOT a good coach.
When you neglect David Lee and Renaldo Balkman in terms of minutes for guys like Eddy Curry and Jared Jeffries, you are NOT a good coach.
When you are Isiah Thomas, you are NOT a good coach.

They do, but no chemistry, which is huge in building a team...

that being said, with a good to great coach, I believe we are a few games below .500

Does anybody ever wonder what'd we'd be like with Larry Brown right now?

I do.

Well, he was a proven winner just about everywhere and we knew coming in, he'd break down and build back up.

Obviously, it wasn't gona work with Isiah here and Dolan, but...

Just talking about him as a coach and his track record...hard not to think we'd be a much, much better team right now....and probably with players thatplayed defense.
