Did anyone realize that before Zach came to NY, that Curry put up 19.5 and 7? I knew he was having a good season in 06, but that was really good.

Some of us are the same people hoping he'd make the ASG that season.

...I know he brings nothing defensively or on the glass. But offensively, he can excel if gets up and down the court. Or 1 on 1 on the block.

and i agree with allen...1 on 1 on the block no one is stopping eddy curry except for himself when he takes a spinning left handed hook or some other kindof wild shot...but when he backs it down its pretty much a guaranteed bucket

I had faith in dude when he came, but that is only because he brought an offensive presence in the post. However, his offensive presence took usnowhere before Zach got here (not saying it was all on Curry's shoulders, but he was supposed to be the focus of our offense). And with Zach here, thecancer that he is, Curry hit rock bottom. I think he's mentally soft, that's just the feeling I get from dude. Both of these fat 'tards thoughcan't make it here or anywhere else without some defensive prowess. I hate seeing those flashes from Curry when he'd get on help D and/or play solidman D. I hated it because I knew I wouldn't see it again for another 10 games or so

In lala land, Curry would shed quite a few pounds, put on muscle, and become a lighter, faster center.

curry's biggest problem always has been and always will be his weight. he has most of the skills on offense that you could want from a center. he'sshowed on occasion that he can be an effective jumpshooter. he needs to work on passing out of the double team. other than that you can't demand more fromyour center. i think better timing will come if he can keep the weight down. he will be a better rebounder and defender
