OFFICIAL NEW YORK KNICKS OFFSEASON THREAD: TRAINING CAMP

Steph playing well. He's been very aggressive so far.

He's been playing well all season besides the last minute of the game against the Heat.

Ok so who feels that David Stern should just take full control of the Knicks and fix the ugly situation going on?

True Story.

^At this point I will take Spike Lee running the Knicks so no I wouldn't mind if Stern took over. However, that will never happen.

Typical Knicks AGAIN! Cant hit anything in the third ; fall behind by 16 in the fourth, make a run and then break our hearts. I don't even know why Iwatched after the third....I knew what was gonna happen.

This is a horrible loss. This team should be 4-2. We are not beating the teams we should. Heading into the road trip I thought we had to win @ LA and @Sacramento. Those are winnable games. This team needs to get hungrier and stop playing around. We will not make the playoffs if we do not beat the teams we aresupposed to beat.

Rather than making a separate thread about it, can someone PLEASE enlighten me as to how Isiah has kept his job? There have been PLENTY of instances where Zekecould have been canned over the years, but Dolan has stuck by him. What's Dolan's obsession with Isiah, and do you knick fans really think that Zekewill still be on board next year?

Isiah: I Love All My Players

Isiah Thomas is trying tough love on Stephon Marbury. "I love all my players, just like my mother loved me, but sometimes she snatched me out of the park and had tough words for me and did some tough things to me," the New York Knicks coach said after Marbury rejoined the team for Wednesday's night game against the Clippers.

"I want the best for this team. I want the best for every player inside that locker room. And sometimes there are tough lessons that need to be learned and there are tough things that we need to do. Every player that's worn a championship ring, there's a heavy price to be paid. That's our goal and that's where we want to get to."

Marbury received a $182,000 lesson, the fine levied against him by the team for skipping out on the Knicks in Phoenix and missing their game Tuesday when they lost to the Suns. Against the Clippers a night later, he came off the bench and scored 13 points in the Knicks' 84-81 defeat.

Yall dudes kill me. We're 2-5 not 0-7. Jumping the gun seems to be the common denominator here, give it a month or so then vent.

it's always like that. minimum 12 hours before recuperating after a loss then next day you find yourself glued to the tv at 7:30 praying they can turnit around. then a lot of cursing and frustration sighs happen. trust me word to the circle of life

ya know i was heated all week, but after taking a step back and realizing its ONLY 7 GAMES INTO THE SEASON, we still have a lot of time to mesh as a team... ihope

Really guys. Last night was more positive than anything, we played a good team on the road and we hung in there (no suprise because we made the comeback andthan fell short) but we got all our guys baack, and once everyone feels back in it and everything hopfully we can get that optimism back that we had when wewere 2-1 and in the offseason. Yalls are acting like Isiah right now jumping the gun

. 2-5 CHILLLLLLL. We were far worse at the beginning of last seasonand i do not think that was a "wasted season" My Knicks will turn this !*@* around and go back to fighting like dogs and winning like that. Stephwill do his thing and i am still sticking with my thoguht that he will have a sick year and turn the haters' heads. And at the end of the day, we will lookback and all this !*@* with Marbury right now will make it all sweeter.

how long is balkman out for? he wouldve beasted against the clippers last night with his uptempo style. we just need him back with all the starters and playlike the season started today and throw everything in the past behind them. us fans are about to die from stroke

with your constant erratic play. you'rekilling me petey

We always take a step back to be disappointed every spring. This yr I'm being a realist and not a dreamer with the knicks. I'm not going to expectanything from them, that way if they don't succeed I won't be disappointed.

Since when is that LA team good?

We lost to a sorry Heat team now them

I tried being optimistic, but its clear already of how good we are or could be

We're a joke and nothing more than a bubble playoff team

I dont know what Knicks teams you are talking about, but i know that i havent hyped up a Knicks team like this one since WAYYYYYY back in the day. By that imean the 90s. I dont know what planet you were in if you hyped up a team like with Larry Brown or last years team (which turned out to be better than i thoughand ended on a highnote for the future) That highnote that we ended on and the addition of Zach Randolph got me excited for the new season. I said it over anover again in the offseason i cant remember the last timei was this excited for a Knicks season. And there is no chance in hell i am going to give up at 2-5.

At first things were clicking and we started off 2-1 and a very good win vs the Nuggets and we should have won opening night but put up a fight anyway. Than wewere simply outmatched by Orlando. After that, yes we did lost to a sorry Heat team but also remember we were without Randolph. Since that we were a mess whenwe lost to Pheonix, and yesterday night was us starting to get it back together, and we lost to a Clippers team. Who is good since they are now 5-2 thisseason, to answer your question allen3xis, and started off the season 4-0 i think. We still put up a good fight, but either way we are just getting it backtogether again. Now we stand at 2-5 but we are together again, and we will be that team that i waited for all offseason again. Starting 2-5 with all this !*@!going on is NO WAY going to let me give up o this team. Heck, we were way worse and started way worse last year and bounced back to be one of the strongerteams in the east before we all got hurt. I think yalls are crazy iff you are just going to pull the plug on this season, how can you give up this early if youwatched the Knicks for so long? 2-5 people calm down.

I am disgusted but I agree that some people are overreacting. Keep the faith Team Knicks!!

Glad to see you backed up off the ledge HTTB!

Knicks fans... are you okay with this?

The Wizards are hanging up Pearls' Baltimore Bullets #10. He was a Bullet great, but he is a Knicks legend and his #15 already flies in the Garden. i dontwant another team hanging up the jersey of a Knicks legend! I dont know maybe thats just me what do yalls think.... This once again brings up my argument ofwhy the +%$% have we not hung up John Starks' #3 definitley and other maybes like Bernard King's 30 and Oakley's 34?????
