Lets see.....

15.3 points, 6.7 assists, and 2.6 steals (third in the league) with shooting percentages of 50/46/83.
PER 21.1 (5th among all starting point guards)

Yep.

Still don't see the need for them to panic.

Should they trade Pau? Yes. Is that panic? Not really. It's been a long time coming.

But you can say panic at 8-9. When they've been entirely inconsistent. But still only 2 out of the division.
Bruh, with the moves they made for players and coaches

Is anything but a ring not a failure?

You think this team can win a title?

There's a difference between fundamental problems and something where you can work out the kinks

10th in the conference
depth issues
lack of shooters
tough western conference
chemistry issues
old age

this isn't the same as miami being 9-8. that team was younger and played in a weaker conference.
even if the lakers are healthy and gelling, are they really better than the clippers, spurs, thunder, or grizzlies?

there has to be some level of panic. maybe not as much as the laker haters think, but lets be real

got damn is it June already? this is preseason for D'antoni. he's still out there toying with lineups and rotations. but the Lakers have no chance against young athletic teams like the Nuggets and Rockets. most of yall probably thought the Heat wouldn't make the postseason 2 years ago.

LA is ok, way to early in the season.

They've had set backs.

-Mike Brown sabotaging (Lebron's man:smh: )
-Nash injury
-Gasol horribly play/softness

Nash comes back, trade off Gasol. They good money
Waits for:

" but we don't have our senior citizen starting point guard"

"Kobe will shoot 60% and lead us to another ring"

"Dwight Howard broken back is not in top form"

"Dantoni hasn't had time to implement his young mans offense on this old man team"

"Lakers are still a contender"

"It's still too early in the season to tell if our team is bad"

"We will trade Pau for a gang of all-stars"

From the folks that brought you:

"It's just the preseason"

"Lakers 2013 champs :pimp:"

"Lakers gonna lake"

"#lakernation"
Tell me more

Yeah you can't panic yet if you're the Lakers but........

Trading your 3rd best player wouldnt be a panic?

Find a way to make it work if you're D'Antoni and co.

Kobe Bryant had seen enough.

Another humiliating loss to another bad team Sunday night had the Lakers co-captain ready to take on the whole team if his teammates don't start getting their games — and attitudes — together.

"I'll kick everybody's *** in this locker room if it doesn't happen," Bryant said after a 113-103 loss to the Orlando Magic at Staples Center. Yes, the 6-10 Orlando Magic. "It's the attitude you have to have. Metta is the same way. Dwight has it in him as well. Even though he smiles a lot, he cares a lot about this. Come hell or high water, this has to get done."

The heat have 2 damn sportsmen of the years on their team. Plus an avatar

Unfair.

Better idea - don't talk about Mike Conley.

Because he sucks, right?

Let's see what you can do with this one...Tony Allen is holding opposing players to 0.59 points per possession (third in the NBA). Looks like he's doing well guarding the entire team this year.

He isn't playing like the third best player though.. If he was giving 15 & 9. Very doubtful people would trade him.

But his trade has been 18 months in the making. Should have been traded last year. CP3 deal or not, but I get why they didn't. This year is looking the exact same that last year did.

Now CAN he get it together? Probably. Will he? That I'm not sold on.
