MWP is also at the stage of his career where the risk isn't nearly as high as D. Rose.

Anybody saying what Derrick should do at this point is a clown. Straight up.

Look ive torn my acl before labor day wknd will be 3 yrs since, it took me about a yr and half till i was fully confident to hoop again its all mental yeah you can run, jump ,cut and all but when its an actual game in progress thats when it gets you especially if your the type of guard that likes to take to ball to the cup. Not only did i have to work on my jumpshot but i had alter my game come off screens hit 16fts n all. I dont have the same conscious as when i did before the injury, now i settle more for jumpshots. Now i only play like once a week prior to the injury i played everyday. The fear really is i dont want it to happen again the injury was painful the surgery was painful the rehab was the WORST!!!!!!.....ive seen guys re tair acls like it never got fixed before fball bball etc, In rose case its a career move he has to be wise in his decision take the offseason to strengthen the knee more then play pick up games in the summer to build his confidence back. #THERETURN can wait till next season :pimp:

you guys see him jump off the bench when Hollins intentionally fouled Dwight?

I might have to take a look at that

NBAer Forced To Remove Logo From Hairstyle

Monday, April 8, 2013 1:02 am Written by: ThePostGame Staff

Iman Shumpert, the New York Knicks forward known as much for his smooth beats as for his cool hairstyle, has found one 'do that is too much for the NBA.

Shumpert, who endorses Adidas, recently shaved the company's logo into the back of his head. While it might have seemed like a good idea and a neat tribute to Adidas, the NBA was not smiling.

The league contacted Shumpert and forced him to remove the logo, citing a rule in the NBA's rule book: "The only article bearing a commercial 'logo' which can be worn by players is their shoes."

So Shumpert shaved the logo, and now all he's got is an empty triangle. He posted a photo on Instagram of the two looks.

"#banned," Shumpert wrote. "sry @nba didn't realize there were branding issues wit da logo #iPUToN."

At least Shumpert's tattoo was for his actual sponsor. A few years ago, Marcin Gortat found himself in an uncomfortable situation after Reebok, with whom he had a shoe contract, discovered he had a Jordan Brand/Nike tattoo on his leg.

It is unclear if Shumpert was fined for the logo, but if he was, his is perhaps the second most bizarre fine handed out by the NBA this year. Earlier in the year, the NBA fined San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich $250,000 for sending his star players home instead of having them take the court against the Miami Heat.

they shouldve forced his *** to get a damn haircut

even with rose coming back, they arent getting passed mia

plus, its already too late in the season to develop any type of chemistry especially with a different roster than the one he last played with

I think the most important thing with Rose is that his game is almost entirely dependent on his explosiveness. If he can't play at his full explosiveness all the time with no restrictions I don't think it would be good for him or the team to have him come back now. The next 10 years of the Bulls franchise rests on Rose's shoulders. They can't afford to mess this thing up.

Being healthy is more than being cleared by doctors.

The mental aspect is important and that's where Rose is taking longer. From what I've seen, I don't think it's a decision Derrick is taking lightly or it's because he doesn't care.

Anyone else think that Metta coming back might be a terrible idea?

Earl Clark has played excellent basketball since that Dallas game.

With MDA's short rotations, and when Nash comes back, that really limits time for Blake/Meeks/Jamison/Clark.

True but they're on a 7 old man rotation, must win back to back coming up

Metta is an idiot, and Laker coaches are even more of it by risking him to a LONGER injury death. Straight up desperate *** coaches runnin the Lakers into the earths core.
