Mike Conley is to defensive PGs what Clinton Portis is to blocking RBs.
Goat?
Stop it, this is nowhere near close. This needs to end. I dont really want to turn this into a Patriots bashing fest because that isnt fair to them, but the what the Spurs have been doing recently isnt anywhere comparable to what the Patriots have been doing. The fact that they both used to win but dont anymore isnt enough to make this comparison. The Spurs havent had anything that can be considered a true choke job outside of the Memphis series, whereas every year when the season starts the Patriots are the odds on favorite to win and yet they never do and lose to subpar teams.cause the spurs and timmy duncan are the new england patriots and tom brady of the nba....they come with a good/winning team...have a perennial hof, built around young up and comers, who ppl feel have a legit chance to win it all based on their dominance/chips from ages ago. But as years shown usually put up a great season, only to fall short.i dnt see whats so surprising about that
pop=belichik in terms of tenure and respect, duncan=brady....so forth and so on.
The Spurs arent popular/marketable? Its no longer 2005 man, they didnt get into the top 10 most profitbale teams by not being popular and filling seats. They play an exciting brand of basketball that anyone can get into. I'm not having any luck fidning viewership stats by team but I doubt we're last, a team like the Bobcats or the Pistons is last, not a team that is competiting for the ship year after year.id agree if the spurs werent the least popular/marketable etc...team in the league. They have been this way for decades, and i serious doubt a single game would have changed that. The spurs are i think still last in viewership. So i doubt it affected the nielson ratings. To be honest them not playing really didnt affect anything outside of the fans who actually bought tickets in advance, with the understanding that the big three would be in attendance.Going back to last nite with the spurs and heat, I think it is very messed up that Pop and the guy that was interviewing him, Spo, and LeBron and Wade walking in the arena all can make fun of this situation by sitting out last nite. Makes you really think they don't care about the fans who the league is geared towards, and the people who have spent their hard earned money on tickets that were probably at a premium compared to other games during the season. But I guess taking care of the fan is Stern's concern and I will be interested to see what happens with this. Granted from the highlights it was good game but not what people were paying to see (without stars). Just seems like I'll get you back for what you did earlier to us in the season and nevermind the people who are paying our salaries, just screw them...
Why would it? The Spurs lost their focus when it was announced that Bron and Wade wouldn't play. The same thing happened in the other Spurs-Heat game when the Spurs damn near beat Miami without Duncan, Parker, Ginobili, and Green.I wonder if this game effects the MVP race?
man, that was such a tragic accident.. It's hard just looking at the videoMan seeing Kevin Ware injury, I have to say I hope Derrick Rose and others recovering only come back when they are ready to play. Miss a season if you have to for the long run.

You think that's in every player's mind? I know when I play, it crosses my mind sometimes that I can just break my leg, buckle my knee, break my wrist, etc.
"Man, just going down the stairs at work today I was thinking about what would happen if the bone just went thru my leg."
Seriously...I'm walking around the office with so much unnecessary caution.
