You asked me to name you players, I named you 8-10 who can come into Miami's system and mimic exactly what Bosh is doing right now.
No one on that list is spacing the floor the way that Bosh does for the heat.
Tell me more about how the post season magically alters the match ups, I am very interested.Let the spurs play the lakers in the first round and we will see. They don't match up well with lakers in the playoffs (not talking about the reg season). Spurs will barely make it out or lose against lakers...watch!
i dont get it tho..why CANT we use numbers to judge bosh?? i understand if he was solo he would put up crazy numbers, ala toronto..i get that..nottom line is he isnt solo..probably will NEVER be that guy again..his choice..if were going by 3 years ago then pau is still the best 4..we all know pau 3 years ago aint the gasol of today..we cant fo off 3 years ago...I feel what youre saying and you've been making valid points, but we really cant use the numbers to judge Chris Bosh under any circumstances. Hes taking a major slight in terms of his touches to play in Miami, he would easily be a mid 20PPG scorer right now if he was rolling solo. The rebounding I have no true answer for, the whole team doesnt rebound but he really should be getting more than that, maybe somewhere around 8.
IF he was alone he would..no doubt in my mind..IF he were alone he would avergae more than 6 boards a game...IF my aunt had a penis she would be my uncle..not playing the IF game...Those are the only dudes that are even close to what he gives you. The others have serious defencies in their games
You really think if Bosh was a focal point of an offense, he couldn't still give you 21 PPG?
how can you say that when i watch dudes like zbo, dirk,KG,klove, aldrige knock down jumpers ALL DAY LONG..the EXACT same way bosh does...No one on that list is spacing the floor the way that Bosh does for the heat.
Bosh is much more valuable to the Heat as currently constructed and the way they play offense than Dennis Rodman. How is this not obvious
my point exactly..dude really said none of them stretch the floor like bosh..lol...all kg does is take jumpers..get real..Bosh is a good shooter but yall in here acting as if he's Larry Bird in the flesh.... K.Love, Dirk, LA, Gallo ?? none of those guys are spacing the floor like Bosh.... ?
bosh doesnt do what he did in toronto anymore...bosh has EVERY move you want from a 4...he can take you in, out, high, low, finish right, left...literally can do it all...Don't think Dirk and Gallo can do what Bosh does in the post
I think people are misunderstanding the Bosh argument. Not saying he's not a big part of the teams success, but with the new CBA the heat are most likely going to have to get rid of one of the big 3. Lebrons not going to be let go for obvious reasons, Wade was the heat before there was a Heat. Thus, Bosh is the odd one left out. All of them have a unique skill set, but if they are going to try and emulate a skill set his would most likely be the easiest to acquire and replicate.
I meant defensively as wellbosh doesnt do what he did in toronto anymore...bosh has EVERY move you want from a 4...he can take you in, out, high, low, finish right, left...literally can do it all...Don't think Dirk and Gallo can do what Bosh does in the post
like many posters already said, he SACRIFICED that part of his game when he joined miami...no more robounds...no more low post...bosh is a catch and shoot jump shooter right now, bringing the defenses big to the high post so bron and wade can cut...that was bosh decision..
no more low post...
Letting go of the Bosh would the dumbest decison they could make.
Wade is aging and the things he does are kinda redundant with Lebron. Bosh's game will still be effective late into his career
If all players took less money, the focus of the game would be different league wise. What if they all just take less money?
What if they all just take less money?
I agree with you whole heartedly. I thought the lebron/wade redundancy was going to be the downfall of the heat. Although it does make sense to keep bosh, I feel like the fan base, management, and staff regard him as the least valuable of the big 3. Which is foolish because his value was proved in the pacers series. With that said, are the heat contenders if any of their big 3 are swapped out?
it can easily be replaced by the endless number of 'stretch bigs' in the league...alot of big men can average 16 and 7...ESPECIALLY on that heat team...
you cant replace 16 boards a game, very good d, and endless hustle plays...
i think ty put it perfectly, something i said myself last week....rodmans IMPACT to the 3peat>>>> Bosh impact right now...
Who are these stretch bigs?
Name me some?
