If Mario Chalmers is a top 3 college player than so is Salim Stoudemire and Jimmer

Mario Chalmers is one of the 3 greatest college basketball players of all time?
What in the world.

Try again, i said those 3 are 3 of the greatest college players, and in Hansbroughs case, i dont think its arguable. And i think Lattner belongs too...if great college coaches are in there, why arent great college players?

Take away Chalmers Game tying 3 vs Memphis in the Natty Game, idk how the hell you can even say he's even top50 greatest college pg's ever.

I dont know why its farfetched to think that 3 of the greatest college bball players (Chalmers and Reddick) could be considered for the Basketball HOF
Now I'm not an avid college basketball fan compared to others on here, but I don't think there ever was a time where Chalmers was regarded as one of the greatest college basketball players.

Reddick and Hansbrough sure.

Dude, what? Higher scoring, now as opposed to the 80's? There are games now that teams get up 80 shots. There were way more shots than that in previous eras man.

Scoring is upticking right now, yes, the NBA has made the rules that way to get more points on the board, but you can't take guys from the 60's and compare them to 50 years later.

Every single shot, dribble, pass, everything is on video now to be played, replayed, and reviewed over and over and over. 50 years ago you just showed up and balled. If you were an elite talent, you shined. Now you can have elite talent, and be shut down by a coaching staff gameplanning you, defensive specialists on you for 48 minutes, zone defense, double and triple teams.

Try running the swinging gate now, or the box and one and see if that measures out the same as back in the day. :lol

I'm not knocking West, or Wilt, or Oscar, but they went against the same 10 teams every single year, less than 100 overall players nationwide. Today has 30 teams, 400 players lookin for work, WORLDwide. Training staffs, year round games, medical advancements, scouting, stat enhancements, media scrutiny, I mean, it's not even the same game as what they went thru. Yes they had it a little rougher with bus travel and such, no private jets, diet, etc but that didn't make them better scorers/players then compared to today.

This where I think it favors the old players, if you had only 100 players, teams are naturally gonna have more depth than when theres 400 players. Those 100 players are gonna have to be alot more skilled to make in the NBA.

Also the advance scouting that todays players have to deal with are a wash compared to 1960s players because who needs advance scouting when theres only 10 teams, you should already remember how a team plays like when you just played them recently.

Lol.

Well thats probably true, i threw in Chalmers bc he was on my TV at that point in time. The other 2 definitely belong though

Westbrook is slowly starting to become one of my favorite players. Would be dope if he and Bynum could play on the same team.

And Hansbrough and Reddick? Like i said, if we have great college coaches, why not great college players? Why cant Laettner, Hansbrough and Reddick be there?
