Can't stand that tool. Avg isn't even Beltran's game, why didn't he mention him hitting 30+ home runs (40+ one season) and 100 RBIthe last two seasons, and having a high OBP.

Exactly. Beltran never been high average hitter. Mets knew that when they signed him.

That's a very good point.
Like the two of you have already said, Beltran has never been a guy who hits for average. But despite that, he has done pretty good since coming here. Stolenbases, homeruns, rbis, etc... Jack of all trades who he does a little of everything well.
I'm not hating on Joe T... But are there really that many Met fans who are secret Yankee lovers for Joe to be getting ovations all weekend long?
