Western People, Nations, and Media with their hypocrisy when it comes to other people's way of living is rich. They THINK they are the ones who are enlightened yet look at their country and people. High suicide rates, declining birth rates, self-absorbed narcissists, and rampant persecution of people by race and religion. Judgment is upon them and they don't even know it.

And Qatar still used modern slaves, a lot of them died too.

He then lied and said that the Manager said it was an honor to represent a country that holds down women. This journalist has come to earn kiss-*** points. This absolutely True, but where are these questions for their respective countries? Why are they always so one-sided? why are these journalists only asking these questions about other people's countries, but not their own? Where is the criticism of the sun and other publications that spread false racially bias headlines?

You really surprised that western countries have a racial bias? Some of these nations whole development was (is?) dependent on racist policies (slavery, colonialism, segregation etc). I mean, i too, could list a lot of fake rethorical questions (Where are the reparations? Why didn't we get a new country? Why is the American President still living in the White House? Why the french one lives in l'Elysée? Why a lot of these Spanish/Portuguese/Italian cities still have racist imagery in a lot of their historic buildings?) but i know the answers: they don't really care about black people.
Now ask yourself this question: why wouldn't care about the lives of brown people from Nepal, India or Bangladesh ?

The video mentioned nothing about Qatar. You’re clearly new here, so you’re not informed. That is a subject discussed thoroughly in here even before they received the World Cup. In this case now, I’m talking about the video posted, where Iran was mentioned. Not Qatar, so while what you’re saying is pertinent, it is however, irrelevant to the subject matter being discussed. Cause nothing about Qatar or slaves was mentioned in the video.

That isn’t deflection. Deflection would be what you’re doing. I criticize western media in the context of the video, and you bring up another topic to defend them or at the least shift the criticism on their hypocrisy from them.

Cape Verdeans always told me Ronaldo was mixed. That he had a Black Cape Verdean Grandmother. It’s never been confirmed but definitely possible.

Yea. Bad history.

But Portugal have made tremendous strides since the 80’s. They teach everything about Portugal’s at a young age in school. Nothing is hidden unless you go to a Private School.

Free citizenships for all. It won’t make up for anything but we’re trying.

Portugal have also done a good job of becoming more secular. Which is important to for progression.

First half of my childhood I grew up in Bridgeport, CT. In the Hollow neighborhood.

My neighborhood was just Portuguese, Brazilian, and Cape Verdean. We were all close. All would go to same church. Same block parties. It was a huge Luso community.

Plus we had to stick together, we were outnumbered heavy by Puerto Rican on one block and Italians on the other
